You can talk a lot about the advantages and disadvantages of the hotel, but, without reference to the area, they are not understood. Israel is a rather specific country, and you need to go there with a certain attitude, or something. If you just want to relax, you should go to Turkey or Egypt. If you want impressions and local flavor, welcome. "Margoa" is a good option for a budget holiday with a bunch of pluses. I give a slightly underestimate due to the situation in which we as a family found ourselves when staying at this hotel. This day fell on a Jewish holiday (like Shavot) and the hotel was loaded with local believers. Arriving from the airport at 16-00, we, of course, wished for a speedy shower and exit to explore the local beauties. At the reception, we are told that the room is occupied, check in after 19-00. As compensation - dinner at the hotel (we only took breakfast). In principle, the option is not bad (considering the prices in local cafes). We left our suitcases, walked, came, ate. Eight hours, nine, they don't let us in. It’s not enough that they were tortured from the road, but the child also got sick of something. And the number is busy! Poor organization of work. What did they expect by settling some and accepting an application for us? Instead of 4:00 pm, they checked in at 9:30 pm. The troubles ended there, but the sediment, as they say, remained.
I would advise, in addition to the excursion, to go to Jerusalem on your own. And then a lot of interesting places are skipped, everyone is running.
In general: quite a decent hotel (by Israeli standards). Maybe we're just unlucky?
