I have never seen such all-consuming dirt in any country, but I have visited many places. The dishes are not washed, but rinsed, and even then not always. Dirty sidewalks - dogs defecate right when they leave the house, because there is nowhere else - there are no green areas and even lawns anywhere. No one cleans up after the animals, it's all trampled down and preserved forever. Therefore, everywhere a terrible stench and flies. The hotels and tourist areas are not cleaner. The room is cleaned purely symbolically - with a wave of a mop. There is so much garbage in the sea that tourists, entering the water, first disperse everything that floats on the surface with their hands, and then they collect large garbage and pile it in piles on the shore, naively believing that it will be removed in the evening. If anyone removes it, then, in all likelihood, back to the sea. There are many restaurants on the streets, which are always full of people, but it is better not to approach these establishments - either sewerage or water after rinsing dishes flows directly from the kitchen, but most likely both. All this smelly slurry flows right between the tables, but this does not bother anyone. In general, they returned as if from a pigsty, barely washed themselves. If you are moderately squeamish - you do not need to go there!
