From a hotel with such a big name as "Herod" you expect something majestic, monumental, pretentious. . . What was my surprise when, having entered the hotel, I found myself in a cozy lobby with a light interior! You can walk around the Herods Tel-Aviv hotel like a museum - photographs of Tel Aviv from the 30s are hung on the walls of the corridors and in the elevators. All rooms are decorated in a retro style - a clock, a nightstand-chest... The restaurant and part of the lobby are stylized as a garden with orange trees. This exclusive was a complete surprise for me!
I lived in a club room on the 15th floor. For those living in this type of room, free admission to the "business lounge" on the 17th floor is provided. There is a relaxed atmosphere with light snacks and drinks, free Internet access, newspapers, magazines...
The room itself is not very large in size, but it is not cramped at all. It surprisingly harmoniously combines antique items with modern items, finishing materials and furniture. In a word - luxurious!

From the windows of all rooms offer a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea. True, it was not possible to go down to the sea itself - in early January there was abnormal weather. Snow-covered Jerusalem was shown on TV, and at that time in Tel Aviv it was raining heavily for several days in a row and a violent wind was blowing. But then one morning a rainbow smiled)))
The breakfasts are very tasty and plentiful. The only problem is that there is simply not enough time to try everything... I highly recommend this hotel to everyone except families with small children.
