We lived for several nights at the Metropolitan Hotel, Tel Aviv in July 2010. Israel is not a country of beach holidays, but of excursions and treatments. First, they chose a city where they had not yet been and where it was convenient to go on excursions + a little rest. The hotel corresponds to a good three, without any special shortcomings. Clean and comfortable. There are no problems with the language - there is Russian-speaking staff. We lived in a standard double room. Room without balcony. The room has a TV, safe, hairdryer, air conditioning, kettle with tea and coffee, refrigerator. Tiny bathroom. Cleaning of the room every day, without comment. They only took breakfast. The breakfasts are quite decent. The hotel has free Wi-Fi Internet, the password will be prompted at the reception. The hotel has no territory. On the 2nd floor there is a swimming pool, sauna, gym. Evening animations were not observed. To the sea 150-200 meters through two roads. The beach is fine sand. For money, you can take a sunbed with an umbrella, or you can take towels at the reception for free and sit under a canopy. There is an outdoor shower. There are no problems with food outside the hotel. There are cafes on the embankment, there is a Russian restaurant and a cafe nearby. Supermarket nearby. 15 minutes walk to a large shopping center. You can eat there very cheaply. There is practically nothing to see in Tel Aviv itself. I wish you all a pleasant holiday!
