Goa - the most fabulous and heavenly place on Earth
we visited several beaches in Goa, they are all beautiful, diverse in their own way. but on Colva: pluses: We liked the Boomerang Bar the most of all the shakes on all the beaches. here it is tasty and inexpensive, attentive waiters, sunbeds, a special worker drives away Indians and beggars from the beach. and no bathing cows, which were used to scare the Internet! ! ! Very clean, the sand around the tables is sifted and cleaned. The owners of the institution are very friendly to the Russians! In the evening, an incendiary program begins, karaoke (and in Russian too), dancing, fireworks, a lot of fun. For us it was the best holiday abroad! ! ! And here is the highest rate of the dollar. I advise everyone to take a taxi from the airport (about 400 rubles) with our money, you can go with someone to make it cheaper, but in 20-30 minutes you will arrive at the hotel. the same way back. and if by bus from the tour operator - then 2-3 hours, because there are several more hotels along the way. We're going to follow.
a year again in Goa and we will definitely come to the same hotel and to this beach! ! !
And now a little about India, if anyone is interested:
we took $ 1.500 with us, for 10 days, it was enough for us, we did not deny ourselves anything, 1 ruble - about 2 rupees, we changed 100 bucks every day - this is about 6.000 rupees, despite the fact that on average lunch cost us 2000 rupees for two.
Experienced tourists told us that it is much more profitable, faster, freer to go on excursions by ourselves. We met a wonderful taxi driver, he speaks Russian, is very polite and courteous. for 40 dollars we went to the waterfall, it's an amazing place, but it's better to go with four people, so it's cheaper. for 30 dollars we were taken around Old Goa, several temples, interesting places, everywhere he was with us, he explained everything, told, helped. we also went with him to the Goan market in Panaji, he helped us buy everything we needed quickly and cheaply.
Naturally, we always gave him a tip of 200-300 rupees (that's 100-150 rubles). it's good money for them. and for us - saving time, comfort, translator, guide, friend.
