Hello, fellow vacationers. I think to write about the fact that GOA in January-February is no longer a great option for recreation, this is understandable, the air temperature is +30, the sea temperature is +27, a comfortable climate, an ideal place for relaxation and rest from the work process in winter.
So, about the hotel, well, it’s difficult to call it a hotel, it’s more like a guest house, because there is not even a meager hotel service, it’s a budget option, but you can live. Upon arrival, if the hotel does not have free rooms - and this happens all the time, you are settled in a neighboring building, which is not a hotel, but is called "temporary accommodation in Spartan conditions while waiting for someone to move out of the main building. " Do not be afraid if you spend a couple of days there, be tolerant, the main thing is to demand relocation in the coming days, because they will forget about you. Well, I won’t write about that temporary shack for the first 3 days, I’ll describe the main building: the rooms are small there, but everything is there: a shower, warm water in which only after dinner - and it must be drained for about 10 minutes until a more or less warm state is reached, toilet, well, everything is OK, there is a small TV, it even shows, there is an air conditioner with a split system - it works surprisingly, there is a fan on the ceiling, a balcony with a table and two chairs, there is a mini-fridge on the key. There is no hair dryer. Beds are good. The rooms are not cleaned at all, so be prepared to wash the floors yourself so as not to roam the sand. Well, I don't think it's scary. The hotel has a swimming pool - small, I have never seen anyone swimming in it, except for the Indians themselves - the owners of the hotel. Breakfasts - scrambled eggs, coffee / tea, toast with butter and jam and a slice of papaya or watermelon, are covered by the hotel staff, you come, sit down, wait to be served - edible, good.
To the sea, 4 minutes walk, very close, convenient location. From the main entertainment, namely - restaurants, promenade, shops, supermarkets in 2-5 minutes walk - the weight is close. At the moment - the beginning of 2015, the exchange rate of the ruble to the rupee is 1:1, i. e. 1 rupee - 1 ruble, it is very convenient to count, you will not miss. I advise you to visit the northern beach of Arambol, wait until 6 pm - a lot of colorful personalities gather there - there is something to stare at - such as an visiting circus. Do not forget to go to South Goa - to feel its regularity. I'm not sure that all these day and night bazaars are obligatory to visit - just a market... an endless market of unnecessary rubbish. Juice center in charpore - worth a trip there, small for three tables - but the juices are cheap and very tasty - I advise. About the Candolim beach itself, to which the hotel belongs - a good beach, densely populated, so to speak, with tourists and Indians, beach cafes - shEki - there are plenty of darkness, choose any. Well, that's probably all. I give guest house Ave-Maria a rating - NORMALDS. All the best in GOA.
