To begin with, this is our second trip to GOA for the New Year. This is something to compare with. So, compared to the previous hotel in Condolim - ESTRELLA - JUST AN EXCELLENT HOTEL! But - there is one significant BUT - this is only if you are lucky with the accommodation. We're out of luck....
ACCOMMODATION
We arrived on 29.12 at 2 o'clock in the morning - we were 3 families. All accommodation was cottages. This, of course, is very loudly said - these are plywood huts with a thatched roof. These "cottages" stand in 2 rows along the path from the reception to the sea. And there are very few well located ones. So - when we went in - the house smelled very strongly of paint and this was only the beginning of all the troubles! In the middle of the night, we jumped in bed from a terrible noise - at first we thought it was some kind of tropical downpour - then there was a feeling that a huge jet of water from a fire hose was hitting our house. We jumped out and did not understand anything - barrels were located above our house - water storage tanks - it was impossible to see anything else. Together with us, the guys from the neighbors ran out. They were scared too. We still didn't understand what it was. Most likely - at some point water begins to overflow from the barrel - the drive over the edge with a huge noise. In addition to all this, the water in the toilet was drained, followed by drum tapping for 4-5 minutes, which also did not add silence (especially at night).

The hotel is constantly being renovated - it looks like the owner has changed and he decided to redo EVERYTHING at the height of the tourist season!! ! Our friends lived in a cottage - next to which there was a furniture assembly site - they constantly drilled something, sawed and made noise. Behind our cottage, something was constantly being painted. I had to go and make a scandal - so that while we live there, they would at least stop painting! After 5 days we changed the cottage, but it was not much better. Firstly, it had problems with hot water and its pressure. Secondly, there was SUCH a barrel nearby, and although the water did not overflow onto the roof, it constantly boiled at different time intervals with a terrible roar! Thirdly, there was a garbage dump behind the wall, the roof of the neighboring cottage was also painted))))) and lastly, some animals ran along the roof at night.
NUTRITION
The hotel works mainly for Indians. Therefore, breakfast is very good for them. And for Russians, scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs - all the variety....But you definitely won’t stay hungry - sometimes there are pancakes, pancakes, there are always toasts, jam, butter, Tea and instant coffee.
A solid 4 for breakfast.
SERVICE
Room cleaning - only if you leave the key at the reception.
Washing the floor is VERY interesting - the mop is wrung out once and the entire floor is wiped at a time - they never washed it under the bed - even when we asked - they promised - but they didn’t wash it! The same goes for the porch. But they always wait for a tip, with or without a reason. And they regularly make swans out of towels. )))))
BEACH
Ordinary public, moderately dirty, like everything in India.
Obsessive masseuses and sellers (also like everywhere else in the North)))))
We went far to the Papaya Shake - anyone interested - write - I will answer in more detail.
Everyone says that they cook the same in all necks - but this is not so, in my opinion - we experimented for several days - until we found what we like and all the remaining days we went only there.
We got acquainted with the owner of the hotel, at the end of the trip we expressed all our claims to him - he promised to take our comments into account and even offered the daughter of our fellow countrymen to work for him as a manager for a season. Whether something has changed - to judge to you. I will be glad if my review is useful to someone.
