We decided to spend our holidays in Goa for the first time. Before the trip, we heard a lot about dirt and debris at every turn, but in reality it turned out to be not entirely true, or rather not at all. This can rather be attributed to the peculiarities of the country, its mentality. Walking cows through the streets, but there it is a sacred animal and why be surprised then. We arrived unnoticed from the airport, the guide talked all the way about the country, its customs and other things, so the road passed unnoticed. We were greeted at the hotel with smiles and a welcome drink. The room was already ready, although the check-in was from 14:00, but we did not have to wait. Suite room, spacious with a huge four-poster bed, beautiful wooden furniture, laminate flooring, everything is new and very, very clean. Bathroom with a combined bathroom, and a shower and bath. A standard set of cosmetics for the shower, there are bathrobes. In my opinion, the room is a bit empty, there was not enough carpet on the floor for comfort, but these are trifles. A long balcony for the whole room, on one side there is a table and chairs, and on the other side there are two sunbeds with mattresses, it was very comfortable. The room is angular, and stand on the side where the sunbeds were located, a side view of the parking lot, but this did not bother at all. But the main view of the fields, the pool and the pagoda in the distance is unusually picturesque. We liked the room right away, and they didn’t change it just because of the parking lot, and even more so, it’s not on the first floor and no one will look at us))). Cleaning is perfect, the guy who cleaned our place was almost forced to take a tip, maybe it's just not accepted. You can't even count on that kind of service. Yes, and the territory of the hotel itself is very beautiful, not very big, but who bothers to go beyond it and take a walk around. There is a swimming pool, not very deep, but clean and warm. There is a lot of greenery on the territory, and in the evenings there is even an entertainment program with dancing and live music. WI-FI did not catch everywhere, and sometimes it knocked out, but it was enough for a correspondence or a call. The food is good, with an emphasis on national cuisine. We had breakfasts and dinners, and we did not regret it at all. In the necks on the beach or cafes in the area, lunch was not much more expensive than at the hotel, but we really liked both the cuisine and the service in our restaurant. For breakfast, there is always a good selection of vegetables and fruits, regular sausages and scrambled eggs, always a couple of types of cheese, fresh pastries and good coffee, and what delicious local cuisine, especially chicken curry, you just can swallow your tongue, mmmm)))). The room service is excellent, we ordered dinner in the room several times, the wait was not long and the dishes are always hot and tasty. Well, and of course, the beautiful warm and gentle Arabian Sea. The sand is a little reddish, which I have not seen anywhere else. Gentle waves, a huge clean beach. If you order something in the neck on the beach, then the sunbeds are free and the Internet is with good speed. We just fell in love with India, and we will be happy to return here, and no doubt to the Fortuna Hotel with great pleasure.
