We stayed at this hotel in late January/early February 2014. Having read reviews about hotels in North Goa in advance, and later listening to my neighbors on the beach, I can say with confidence that the Goan Heritage hotel is very good.
First, of course, is the location. The first line, 2-3 minutes walk to the beach, without touching the Goan narrow streets with their crazy traffic and the cries of merchants: “Madame, come here, look at my bazaar”))) The rooms, although small, but cozy, clean. By and large, you need a room to put yourself in order and spend the night. TV - plasma, but no Russian channels. There is also no hair dryer in the room. No beach towels. Actually almost everything that distinguishes this hotel from 4 or even 5 stars. Towels can also be taken from the room, but then they will not be changed for you when cleaning. And cleaning every day with a change of linen. The mini-bar is replenished every day as it is empty) Prices are slightly higher than in stores, but cheaper than in cafes. There is a kettle and coffee, tea, sugar, cream were also constantly reported. Didn't see any animals in the room. Once a lizard ran along the wall on the balcony.
But we had a room in the building where the Reception is located. The other building is going to be repaired this year, but this one has already been renovated.

The breakfasts are quite good (Again, judging by the stories of tourists from other hotels). Juices, fruits, muesli with milk, oatmeal, several types of Indian cuisine, something like our curdled milk, eggs in various preparations to order (free of charge), pastries, toast, butter, jam, tea, coffee. Yes, it is daily and does not change. But if you are tired of this menu, then there are a lot of shakes on the beach, where you can order something to your taste for little money. They cook delicious. We liked the necks of AGGIS (third in a row, if you go left when exiting the beach) and PEDROS (second when turning right).
The hotel staff is very friendly. They do not speak Russian, but you can understand and explain yourself with minimal knowledge of English.
Near the hotel money exchange at a normal rate. Even rubles are accepted, but not profitable.
Has its own spa. Good oils, normal massage. I liked the Thai massage better, but nothing here either. Relaxes well.
There is no animation as such. 2 times in 2 weeks they held holidays for rich Indians.
But in general, we liked everything. Again, for India - a very good hotel! The main thing is to relax for your pleasure and not look for flaws.
