The hotel is positioned as 5 * - DO NOT BELIEVE, a four with a stretch and this is normal in India. The Indians have a very strange concept of a comfortable stay... The hotel is beautiful, sea view, one in the same as in the pictures, but... We booked DeLuxe rooms, there are 23 of them in this hotel, there are standard rooms and suites. The rooms are equipped with the following: bed (double bed or 2 beds), air conditioning, ceiling fan, desk, chest of drawers, refrigerator, plasma, kettle, tea utensils, bathroom is separated from the room by glass, which, if desired, can be closed with a curtain, hair dryer , the shower is attached to the ceiling above the bath and does not move in any way. DeLuxe rooms are distinguished by the presence of a balcony, constant replenishment of tea and coffee. The most interesting thing is that the windows do not open in the rooms!! ! Given that stuffiness is terrible! except for rooms with balcony. The bed is changed 1 time in two days. Cleaning can be every day, but this is how you pay. We left 50 rupees on the bed - removed.
We were put in a room without a balcony, without a fan. In the morning I went, described the situation at the reception, I was told that the administrator would be there by 14:00. I approached the indicated time, but they didn’t move there... then I began to swear, tell them that I was going home, put it on the Internet, send reviews. They started to fuss only after they saw the time of my stay (3 weeks) and the presence of full payment. By 3:00 pm I was moved to another room with a balcony. Others were less fortunate. The man gave $50 at the reception to be moved to a DeLuxe room, which he booked back in Crimea, but the hotel administration did not even stir. Moreover, you should carefully check your final bill for the number - they add large sums of money for unproven SPA services, for the bill you paid in cash at the bar, etc. With me there were situations when 5800 rupees were credited to the account and this is not the limit.
Breakfast is something special! Meals for 3. You can, of course, eat European food, but it will be the same every day: the same products for breakfast, only chicken and sausages change. The juices are good, but not great. Of the fruits - pineapple, watermelon, papaya.
We ate in cafes near the hotel, it was not expensive and the menu was varied, they cook deliciously, the main thing to remember is the phrase - without spices! By the way, almost all cafes have a menu in Russian.
If you do not pay attention to the hotel, then I really liked India. Lots of interesting and educational stuff. Beautiful landscapes, many beaches differ from each other. Cheerful Indians. By the way, they are well traded: the price goes astray by 3 or even 4 times... it's so nice.
