If you are going to Goa, feel free to leave 90% of your suitcase empty to fill it on the way back))) Take only a pair of shorts and a toothbrush with you! You can buy everything else there! I took the bare minimum and still wore only what I bought there. When in Moscow upon arrival people asked what Goa was? I answered: "Goa is a big market. " Everyone and everything is traded there))) If you tell a passer-by that he has a stylish watch, he will take it off and start bargaining with you, selling it))))) It happened to us))) You will buy cool Alibaba pants there (150 -200 rupees, don't give any more) and big bedspreads with images of Bob Marley and Shiva, and silk dresses… and whatever you want! Bargain until you foam at the mouth, they overcharge by 10 times!! ! Separate conversation their markets - on Wednesdays in Anjuna and on Saturdays in Arpora - everything is more expensive there than on ordinary days. For example, they sold hats for 500 rupees a piece, as a result, we put the last 250 rupees in our hand and bought 2 pieces))) By the way, there is a night market there - complete nonsense, there is just a huge Cherkizon))) And we are at the entrance the traffic policeman fined them 500 rupees there for not having a license with them (although they are not needed on a scooter and no one has them with them, as a rule)

I advise you to go for a ride on the beaches. True, it can be difficult for girls to move around on mopeds behind the wheel (I wouldn’t be able to, because my man himself could barely cope with it) But the girls they all ride... So it’s best to live on Vagator if you like beauty and more or less solitude . There are millions of hotels in Calangute and sun loungers in 10 rows on the beaches. I do not like it this way. Nearby there is Candolem beach, where our friends went to swim, although they themselves lived in Calangute. Candolim is also full of people, but a little more civilized. There is also the beach of Agouda and the Fort of the same name. Our friends really liked it there, the pictures were cool, but we had no time to go there from Vagator. Be sure to go to Arambol beach. Where the hanging bridges lead to the sea. There is generally an empty coastline and you can relax chuuuudnenko without annoying merchants. There is also Arambol further away - there are a little more people there, but mostly Russians living in bungalows on the beach, and enchanting foreigners. There you can really meet the sunset - everyone does it in their own way: some in a yoga position, others juggling, others dancing to music heard only by them... Morjim beach is also nearby - there is also a secluded place, but everything is very expensive, there are also many Russians. Those who arrived are “savages”, by the way, this beach is called the beach of the majors))) There we once met the sunset, drinking strawberry Mojito, and crazy crabs ran around and tumbleweeds flew by : ) By the way, Fort Chapora is not far away - a very atmospheric place! ; )

Also, be sure to take a car to the south of Goa, we spent one of the days like that - the sea of impressions !! ! There are beaches - Colva, Agonda, Cola and Palolem. Everyone is good in their own way. We stopped by on the way to the Cabo de Rama fort - the views are super-duper! And on Kola, a beach quite in the south, next to Agonda, we wanted to spend the night in a bungalow, because this is the most beautiful place in Goa!!! ! Just do not confuse it with an ordinary beach - this one is located in the depths of the jungle, you have to go along the dusty off-road, but when you get there, you just gasp (I will post a photo soon). There, the mountain river turns into a transparent dusty lake and flows into the sea raging with huge waves. We swam there on a boat - romance! And on the next beach - Palolem there is an island of butterflies, be sure to hire a boat and visit there.

We hung out mainly on Baga - there are Titos and Mamba clubs and on Anjuna - there are sometimes parties on the beach at night and a Cuban or Boar club or something like that. It's really cool there, be sure to go. It is not a mountain and you can see everything Goa!! ! On some days, women's parties are held, where admission is free, but we went for 700 rubles. per person and all drinks free of charge. The music sucks (pop), but the atmosphere is amazing! A couple of times a week, next to the Vagator on the Farm, there are massive Goa-trance parties in the field, and the entrance costs a penny - 50 rupees, and inside there is a real boom! A DJ is playing and there are very unusual, extraordinary people around. For the sake of this, it’s worth going in, otherwise you won’t understand what Goa is like from the inside =) Also, if you are on Vagator, as soon as you go down the mountain, there will be a Russian restaurant “5 five” on the left, it glows cool in the dark, and the first one on the right is beach a restaurant with a good-natured young waiter named Guru. You will be there - be sure to go there to eat, the prices there are very good, and the food is licking your fingers! If you tell the Guru that you are friends of Sveta and Sasha from Moscow, he will serve you like kings and will be happy))))

We lived not far from Vagator beach - the most beautiful beach in the resort north, in my opinion. There are 2 beaches - large and small. The view is amazing - real lookouts! Tall palm trees and a wide coastline with majestic rocks, on which you can arrange an excellent photo shoot ; ) We lived in the Leoney Resort olele and next to us are full of all sorts of tents. One of them is right next to the enchanting restaurant Moon danse. There, in a patchwork, the sweetest Indian old man trades. When we drove past, or walked, he good-naturedly shouted to us: "How are you? He is so cool))) One of the last evenings we went to him to buy magnets and take a picture for memory. So he was so happy when he saw the camera! I immediately dug a turban on my head, wrapped it around and took a picture with us with pleasure. Then, with irresistible happiness, he gave us free souvenirs from the bottom of his heart! ))) Here is such a cute grandfather =)

Now I'm thinking how to give him these 3 photos, which I carefully printed in Moscow.

Folks, are any of you going to Goa in the near future? Let me give you an envelope with photos for a cheerful grandfather? In any case, everyone will go to Vagator - to look, take a picture, and you will also please the indigenous Indian, and he is in debt, I’m sure he won’t remain))))

Please write to me if someone can help me! By the way, I can also lend a Russian-language map of Goa with all the sights and an Indian SIM card that costs a lot there, you just have to throw money on it and call Russia for 3 rubles =))

By the way, we spent the whole holiday reveling in their dark rum Old Mong, (you can’t think of a better souvenir for friends in Moscow), and at the end of the holiday I also tasted their white rum (I don’t remember the name) drink it right away, otherwise I really regret that I found its only on the last day of rest))) From food try: their flatbreads - Naan (we especially loved cheese & garlic) salad with tuna and onion (tuna salad with onion) and shrimp in all existing forms. If you have your own kitchen, then buy them in the market and cook them yourself at home. And drink more juices - they cost a penny, but they are squeezed right in front of you! ; ) By the way, the famous Juice Center near Vagator didn't impress us. You can also drink juice anywhere.

You understand, it’s impossible to describe the whole culture and remarkableness of India in this way, and even all the places we visited in 11 days are impossible))) One thing I know for sure - my heart was saturated with warm golden rays, sitting on this piece of Earth place....
