My wife and I went on vacation for a week. I wish it were "closer". The choice fell on the village of Borovoe in Kazakhstan. In principle, I was there a couple of years ago and my impressions were positive, well, of course, this is far from Thailand and even not Turkey. But nevertheless, if time is running out, a suitable option.

We took a ticket from a travel company in Omsk to the Arasan Hotel. I liked that the hotel is near the Borovoye lake, almost in the center of the village. In addition, the rooms had both a toilet and a shower. In general, the rest promised to be a success.

We arrived in our car at this hotel "Arasan" at night (approximately 04.00 am). AND…. discovered that there was no one in the hotel (except tourists sleeping in their rooms, of course). All because the administrator goes home in the evening and returns at 12 noon. This young lady did not answer calls (apparently she does not consider it necessary). Great ...Of course, I'm used to spending the night in a car fishing, but my wife is not very.
In addition, it turns out that we paid more for 1 day.

For that, at 12.00 in the afternoon, everything changed: the administrator girl (her name is Elena) appeared with a flying gait, ignoring our discontent (and, by the way, many more tourists who arrived at night), held out the keys to our room. And I noticed another strange thing: a parking guard (the same paid one) came with her and began to “guard”. That is, at night he also goes home, for that day, the parking lot is guarded. That's right, who will steal cars at night?

But the indifference and general stupidity of the hotel administration does not end there. The first thing we saw when we entered the room was the bed linen, which, sorry, smelled like previous tourists. That is, underwear kept the gene pool of many people. I was scared to think: how many times on it ...hmmm ...okay.
For that, there is good news - a couple of fat bugs were waiting for us in our souls. They had to be caught and released.
In general, we decided that all the troubles are behind us, we can relax and unwind. But it was not there. The fact is that when we came to our “room” to sleep in the evening, we found that the bugs were just everywhere. The fact is that the rooms are made of wood slabs and there are gaps between the slabs through which you can see what is on the street. Insects fly through them.

We ended up sleeping in the car again =))) And you try to fall asleep with the bugs under the covers =)))

In the morning we went to the administrator, another person was already sitting there - his name is Victor.
He promised to move us to another room, but not the fact that it will be different in another room.

Then other tourists came up - elderly women with the same problems and made a raskolbas, but they did not achieve anything.

I had to buy mounting foam and make a small repair: I foamed all the cracks. Somewhere bags and napkins clogged holes

If I was offered to relax in this hotel for free, I would not go, it would be better if I live in a tent.

People stay away from this place, learn from our mistakes

P. s. Finally, one more piece of advice for those who travel to Kazakhstan on their own transport: it’s better to take a bus. Save your suspension (the roads there are even worse than ours, with the exception of one main highway that leads to Astana), and the gays there are fiercely striving to take away your license for any reason, if you don’t give it to your paw.
