The hostess helped with the purchase of tickets, drove us to the railway station, met us from the beach when it started to rain, in general they were treated very carefully and well, such a human attitude is rare. On the first day, a free sightseeing trip to the city of Hikkaduwa. The city is nearby, there are discos, surfing, turtles, sunsets, hookah - 10 minutes by tuk tuk. You can also order a hookah at the villa. Pleasant and unobtrusive hotel staff. Free shuttle and sun loungers to the clean beach next to the hotel. The hotel has a large swimming pool and a pond where you can fish. Lived on the 2nd floor wifi is excellent!

We rested with my wife at VILLA 96 BOUTIQUE HOTEL in January 2017, after reading hundreds of reviews about hotels in Sri Lanka, the choice fell on Villa 96 Boutique, which we never regretted. It seemed to me that this hotel is the best in Asia (I compare it with Thailand, Vietnam), it is well located in a quiet place - the village of Akurala, almost in the jungle; untouched nature, the ocean is a 3-minute walk away - amazing, it cannot be expressed in words, it must be seen.

It seemed to me that this hotel is the best in Asia (I compare it with Thailand, Vietnam), it is well located in a quiet place - the village of Akurala, almost in the jungle; untouched nature, the ocean is a 3-minute walk away - amazing, it cannot be expressed in words, it must be seen. The hotel is new (about 1.5 years from the date of construction), very comfortable and well maintained, there is a good pool, which is rare for hotels in Ceylon.
They flew to Sri Lanka on their own, it turned out cheaper than from a tour operator (about $ 500), the flight was Air Arabia, the hotel was booked directly by writing off and calling the owner Elena, who really cares about each of her guests, responding to any request. Trust me, it's worth it.
Scooter (we drove 700 km. ), Excursions: to the mountains, tea plantations, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, "Whales" - Lena helped organize everything, it turned out much better and cheaper than by ourselves.

Simply gorgeous breakfasts with huge portions are prepared every morning!! ! There are also no problems with lunch and dinner at the villa, orders are made by the hostess herself and the food will be cooked at the right time for you! Another big plus is that if you need to go somewhere, whether it's a beach or a city, the owner of the villa Elena will come to your aid right there and take you and bring you back!!
The cities are within a short distance from the villa, you can take a bus (which runs literally next to the villa), you can rent a bike, and go around all the necessary surroundings.
All excursions are also organized by the hostess of the villa.
As for the prices, I also want to note that the prices are very attractive, not at all expensive.
