The food is quite decent. Breakfasts are standard, but lunches and dinners are quite varied and tasty. Seafood is really small, but there was always fish!
Animation in the evenings, then a disco. A local band with a European repertoire often performed. Wine for a fee, but the local arak (30 degrees) is nothing, plus various cocktails, gin and tonic, rum-cola... So it was quite enough for our people. The contingent is roughly half Slavs and Germans.
