We rested from 26.02 to 08.03. We flew a direct flight Kyiv-Colombo (there 8 hours, back 9 hours. ). Tedious, but no hassle. At the airport, you need to fill out an emigration card and pay 25 dollars. After that, it is advisable to change money 1 USD = 116 (112 rupees) (keep the receipt for the reverse exchange for dollars) and buy a local SIM card is much more profitable!
We got to the hotel in about 2.5 hours, back 2 hours. Upon arrival, we left our things and passports at the reception and went to have breakfast. After that, they immediately settled us.
The rooms are small and tidy, but there we only slept and washed at night. We spent the whole day on the ocean, resting under palm trees. Cleaning is daily (if you do not hang a red flag). For 1 dollar you will put flowers on the bed. Water, tea, coffee were brought during cleaning.

The territory is large, beautiful, very green. Palm trees and flowers everywhere. Chipmunks, monitor lizards and lizards constantly run around the territory (which like to stay in your room ; ) ).
The hotel is located last on the spit. There is a river on one side of the hotel, and the ocean on the other, which is very beneficial, since there are few locals.
The ocean is constantly raging and very addictive. Do not swim far, because the shark will carry away and sometimes swim!
The food is very good. Mostly fish (fried right in front of you or you collect yourself in vats). Very very tasty rice! there are salads, vegetables, fruits (pineapples, papaya, watermelons, bananas, passion fruit), for lunch they give delicious ice cream. Many different sweets: pastries, jellies, pineapples and bananas fried and battered. A couple of times a week they bring lobsters ($50) and shrimp ($40), which are cooked in front of you. Beer, rum, arak, gin, brandy, cocktails are free, and wine is paid - 3 dollars per glass. There is an afternoon snack at 16-00 (pie with tea and milk).
The staff is very good, helpful, constantly smiling and even trying to speak Russian. But don't forget to keep your receipts, because they may not work!
Volleyball games are organized on the beach. There is a library where you can borrow books left by vacationers for free. In the evening live music and a couple of times a week their local dances. Somewhere at 23-00 there is a disco (but only 2-4 people danced with us).

About excursions. We went ONLY THROUGH THE PARTY, which I advise you to!! ! You will immediately meet him on the beach - he will come up to you and will offer excursions and talk about everything like that. We took 2 excursions. 1) in KANDY - a full day excursion. This includes: KANDY, where the tooth of the Buddha is located, which is raised every 5 years (you walk around the temple barefoot, and when you pick up your shoes they demand 1-2 dollars), ELEPHANT HOSPITAL, excursion on elephants (1 min-1 dollar + they also demand that they took pictures of you, if you want to feed the elephant - take bananas with you or buy from them), NATIONAL PARK (very beautiful: there are orchids, drunken Christmas trees . . ), TEA FACTORY (where you can buy tea 1kg-8 dol. . ) and the SPICE GARDEN (cheaper than the spice garden near the hotel!!!!!!! ) +++ if you want a jewelry factory and a batik factory (but we got tired and refused). -------2) took excursion ON BOATS (30 dollars for 2 hours for everyone). There you will see monitor lizards, mandra forests! and, if you're lucky, crocodiles in the wild. Also, a guy with a crocodile will drive up to you and you can take a picture with him for 1 dollar.
Not far from the hotel, on the right, there is a small temple with 2 monks. Very beautiful and large embankment, you can walk and walk. We also went to the city. A tuk-tuk costs 1-3 dollars, while they will take you and wait as long as necessary. Their market day is Monday (mostly vegetables and dried fish are sold there). They say that tea is cheaper in the store, but we did not go there. Pineapples cost 1-1.5 dollars per piece. Coconuts 1-2 dollars (40 rupees for locals). need to bargain! Good clothing stores, but prices fluctuate everywhere! Not far from the hotel (up) there is a GREAT Buddha temple (60 m) very beautiful - worth going or driving up.
In general, the country, namely nature and attitude, really liked it! I advise everyone who wants to relax and have a good rest, this hotel and this country!
