We rested in Serf from November 1 to November 12.2011.
The first two days it rained, the rest of the time it was beach weather. The ocean is just a fairy tale. Space, clean sand, clean ocean. The ocean is very salty and raging! ! you can take small surfers to ride the waves, it costs only 2 dollars per hour. They can be rented two minutes from the hotel, on the beach near the neighboring Touch Exotic Hotel. The hotel is just great. Nothing extra. Lobby bar, restaurant, meadow with sun loungers.
The food was excellent, not spicy. There was always meat, chicken, fish, seafood, fruits, vegetables, sweets. We had an all inclusive, so between lunch and dinner you can drink coffee with cookies or a muffin. Local drinks are good arak, gin. Wine is not included in the all inclusive. And in general in Sri Lanka imported grapes. The cost of wine in the store is min 15 USD per bottle. For tourists, the prices are even higher, they sell it in separate shops, not in the super market.
