Сказочный остров fairy island

Just got back from Sri Lanka yesterday! Just a lot of impressions! Beautiful nature, interesting excursions and awesome ocean! Hotel Taj Exotica is considered one of the best in Sri Lanka. Indeed, of all the hotels that are in Bentota, it is the best! The hotel consists of a 6-storey building, located right on the ocean. The beach is one of the biggest pluses of the hotel - the breakwater during storms reduces the waves and makes it possible to swim safely even in a storm, while it is extremely difficult to swim in other hotels. The territory is not very big, but very green and beautiful! a huge number of chipmunks and mongooses run around the deck chairs and visit the balcony : -)). The number of rooms, of course, does not particularly correspond to the level of 5 stars, but since you rarely visit the room, we did not attach much importance to this : -) the hotel has a gym, sauna, a good outdoor pool, several restaurants and bars. There is practically no animation - we saw only water polo and volleyball, in the evening - live music in the bar, but maybe during the season they come up with something else : -). The island itself impressed with its nature, historical monuments and of course the ocean - warm and clean : -)) an ideal place for a honeymoon!
