Although I got to Bentota in the very rainy season, the hotel fell out to me - sheer cuteness! Starting from the boy at the reception with impeccable English and ending with food in the restaurant. It is just right for the hotel to issue a card, it is so confusing))). The bathroom is interestingly tripled - there is no one external wall, but at the same time the canopies protect from prying eyes. You wash almost in the fresh air.
They cook amazingly in the restaurant: they liked both breakfast and avocado with shrimp and white wine for dinner. Cool beach, but the waves were such that I purely symbolically plunged and ran away to sunbathe on the stones (sunbeds are removed from the beach in the off-season, but they can bring a sunbed from the pool to the sea).
In season this hotel is heaven on earth. The only negative is the railroad passing nearby. But I sleep like a log at night, so I didn’t hear any trains until morning.
