Rested from 04/15/10 to 04/26/10. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Firstly, the hotel got rich - safes in the ROOMS, there were no thefts during the rest, on the contrary, they found their missing things after cleaning on the bedside tables. Cleaners for service took money only from the beds and never from the tables. They tried to fix the air conditioner with the help of local homemade ones, which had a broken speed switch and it was barely blowing. They called the receptionists - as an adult came with a tester and a stepladder, checked the voltage (? ), Turned on the fan (this is in all rooms, restaurants, everywhere... ), said OK! and left, though after him the radio stopped working and the sheets were blown off to the beds, but the music was playing so loudly on the street that it was enough. But there were problems with hot water, but it also seems only in our room. Who rests on the HB system - you don’t have to worry about drinking water - there are 2 coolers with cold and hot water on each floor. The rooms have thermoses. Tea bags in the restaurant are heaps. Some compatriots paid extra $ 5 per person per day and drank alcoholic drinks, like all ALLs. The holiday season is December, January, February, March. During our vacation, showers have already begun, but they do not interfere with rest, only the ocean is very stormy and dirty due to the river flowing in, but this is not a problem either. Take 200 rupees and go along the beach to the left to the river, and there local boats are already waiting for you. They are transported to the opposite bank of the river to the cleanest ocean (only it is not possible to stretch there for more than an hour in such heat, but this is enough) and wait to be taken back. If you walk to the right, but you will find a lagoon - it is fenced off from the ocean by a reef on which waves break and on which dirt settles, only the locals (very friendly - they always smile and just nod without knowing the language) they explained to us where it is better to enter there, because there there are sea urchins.
The food was quite tolerable, since it was not the season, then there were few local residents in the hotel (there were few vacationers in general). Everyone had enough to eat and where to lie down by the pool. I won’t say anything about animation - they were little interested, and when they were interested, they liked it.

On the beach we met a local resident Noan. He speaks Russian well (his wife is Russian). He also arranged all the excursions for us, went to the market for fruit, helped us go for souvenirs, etc. He also has his own seafood restaurant nearby, he feeds very tasty, and especially prepares a cocktail in pineapple. He is introduced and passed from hand to hand by Russian vacationers. Once we really agreed on an excursion, but he didn’t come, we immediately agreed with some driver at the hotel and did what we planned, then Noan apologized for his absence on the beach (his mother was seriously ill, and we didn’t exchange phones) and commented on everything that we did not understand during the trip, as the driver of that Mercedes spoke in broken English and on his fingers. He also gave us a picnic in Russian. Gathered us in the evening (everyone I knew at that time) in the bushes on the beach and treated us to local vodka (araka) with fruit. Have fun! And vodka is nothing, a fortress of 33 degrees, made from palm trees and without any extraneous odors.
Meeting-seeing off went without a hitch, without a hitch. The TES-club sent us (thanks to manager Tatyana! ). Meeting party Exotic Innernationl……. (guide Tisa) - on the sign for arriving this name was written in Russian, not in Latin letters, so for a long time we could not understand who we flew to. Nothing, compatriots helped to figure it out. How people who smoke heavily and tired after a long flight asked him where they could do it, since they got to a country for almost non-smokers. He, understanding our situation, found a secluded place at the airport so that we could do this without shocking the locals. The hotel did not forget about us either - they constantly slipped some kind of paper information under the door. And when he met us on an excursion in the elephant nursery, he even called everyone by their names. But I note that excursion programs (even cheaper than on the street) and all other local earthly goods were at common stands at the reception at the only Russian tour operator Maldivian.
