We took the system one breakfast and did not regret it, because. there was nothing special to eat. We ate at the Sun flawers cafe, when you exit to the beach on the left, they have a menu in both Russian and English. The food is excellent, we have tried almost every menu. Portions of rice are very large, you can safely take one for two or three. They celebrated the birthday of our friend, so they decorated the place at the table with balls and gave a portion of grilled king prawns as a present. They have a very tasty pair of fish (not on the menu), this is a huge fish cooked on the grill. The four of us, with a good drink, ate 2/3. Now for the tours. We went on their local safari, this is a boat ride on the river. Bought from local guys on the beach for $ 10 per person. I will say this, you can go for fun, but apart from being nailed (in the literal sense, I later split this guide when we went to Kandy with him) to a tree of a small crocodile and a couple of live monitor lizards, there is nothing special to watch. The tour was conducted by a local, his name is Semi, the only one who speaks good Russian in that area, remember this name, then you will understand why. So, after this excursion and getting acquainted with Semi, we bought from him a two-day tour of Kandy-Nuwaraeliya. Paid $130. US per person, there were four of us. We traveled in a Toyota minibus, we, Semi and the driver. Excursion tiresome, for all excursions paid Semi, except for riding on elephants, which, as they say, on request. The cost of this half-hour tour is about $26 per person. Well, we decided that we live once, but we need to try a lot and went for it. So the elephant ride itself takes about 15 minutes, and there was no particular comfort while riding at all, and the rest of the time take a picture when they give you, like, wash the elephant, actually scratching it with a piece of coconut. After this tour there was a spice garden, you can see it, I do not recommend buying it, it's expensive. We took their advertising booklet and in an Ayurvedic pharmacy in Beruwala we bought the same one for half the price. Then there was an excursion to the elephant nursery, where elephants bathe in the river, and you take pictures against their background, and there is also a souvenir market that is normal at prices. On the way, when we were driving, we stopped where we asked to take a picture. Arriving in Kandy, we were immediately taken to eat at a restaurant, and then checked into a hotel. The hotel is decent, we thought it would be worse. After the hotel, the guide took us to a performance where their local dances were. Entering the hall, we saw that only old people were sitting there, and after reading the program, we became very sad for the next hour and a half and we asked the guide to leave this performance immediately to the Buddha temple. Well, it all started here, Semi at the box office refused to return the money, although there were still 20 minutes before the performance and people came up. Arriving at the temple, we faced another problem, our women were in shorts, and putting on a pair of them, they let them into the temple. We bought some kind of rag from local hucksters and, having tied it all the same, they let us in with a creak. After taking us around the temple for 40 minutes, we left. BUT, as we found out later, when we returned to our homeland, this beast of Semi did not take us to the main temple, where the entrance is paid, $ 10 per person, and he saved himself money. If I ever get to Sri Lanka, I’ll shove a banana in his ass for this, and if one of those who go to this hotel does this, I promise a reward with delivery to any corner of Ukraine. The next morning we left for Nuwaraeliya, Seven in the evening got drunk and smoked like a beast, and slept all the way, not telling anything. They drank tea at the tea factory and. . . all home.
