Elegant vacation in Sri Lanka
We went to Sri Lanka with friends (4 adults) for 16 days: 2 days on the road; 5 days excursion; 10 days - on the ocean.
A few words about the road: the flight is quite difficult if you do not have experience of long flights. Flydubai does not feed! Keep in mind!
About excursions: this is probably the most interesting part. We ordered a local guide - Cheka, contacting him from Lviv. As a result, we had a five-day individual tour. We really liked the guide: it was nice that he not only gave us a tour, but also sought to elevate the country for the better, as well as not to miss the interesting for tourists (ie for us). Our tour took place by car with him and the driver, each time we had the opportunity to stop on the road, buy fruit or coconuts. After the tour we went to the hotel. The hotel was different every day, choosing our guide for us. We had no complaints about the hotels, so you can safely rely on his choice.
At his own discretion, he tried to capture all the most interesting things during these days and not to miss any interesting, new, unusual for us local little things, for which he is very grateful! ! ! We visited the elephant sanctuary, the botanical garden, the Buddha Temple, climbed Mount Sigiriya, were on safari. Holidays in the ocean were in the resort town of Tangali (Lagoon Paradise Beach Resort). Before departure, we visited the house of our guide. In our honor, the family of Cheka (our guide) prepared a festive dinner of seafood. In short - I liked everything, there were no complaints. . !!
