long-awaited vacation
I will write briefly, but the most important.
We arrived: we were placed in a not very good room (ground floor, hell knows where), just at that time all the rooms were occupied. But there were no further problems, we agreed at the reception that they would give us a room overlooking the pool, the ocean.......the next day at lunch the room was changed, and not a penny was paid extra. Dear, learn English, because. There are no Russian speakers there. There were very few vacationers from Ukraine and Russia (8 people at most + us) Food: we had 2 meals a day, I can say that it was quite enough, without lunch we felt great, breakfasts were monotonous , but dinner was different every day (every evening there was a different cuisine, decorated in different styles) The kitchen is not bad, you won’t stay hungry, well, that’s exactly their cuisine - Sri Lankan, well, very spicy.
Excursions: despite their poverty, the prices are simply kosmoss..... for fishing for 4 they asked for $ 300, but then they agreed for $ 150 (from local residents). The excursion was taken from our guide (cheaper). In general, the more people, the cheaper it is for YOU (you can agree) we gave $ 60, we were in the Royal Botanical Garden, an elephant nursery, a temple, a tea factory, a spice garden ------ I personally liked it.
What else can I say..... near the hotel the coast is not very good (dirty and locals pester) but on the neighboring island of Bentota it’s just wonderful, we always swam and rested there, to swim there it costs only 100 rupees. t . e one $ (ROUND AND BACK)
