Hello! We returned home after Sri Lanka and will immediately share my impressions. The tour was composed as follows - 6 days around the country - arrival and hotel Goldi Sand in Negonda dinner breakfast swimming in the ocean and on the way. The hotel is good, the food is delicious. A trip to Dambulla - Sigiriya and Minneriya Jeep Safari - everything is interesting, climbing uphill is interesting, but it's hard in the heat. A divorce is possible where there is a cave with frescoes - you can’t take pictures, and if you take a picture - you immediately run over - pay a fine. The views are excellent. Safaris are very interesting - a lot of elephants, buffaloes, birds, wild boars, deer. Overnight at Cameliia Resort & spa in Dambulla - super hotel. The third day - moving to Kandy with a visit to Dambulla Cave Temple - I liked everything very much. On the way, visiting the spice garden - everything is minimal, but interesting, they offer to try and buy everything, but everything is expensive.
In Kandy itself, a concert with folk dances and dances with fire and walking on coals and in the evening a visit to the Temple of tooth relic - the monastery of the tooth of the Buddha - a real miracle and you need to allocate more time for this - visiting the service, library, visiting the monastery. Swiss Residence in Kandy - the lobby is a little worn and the rooms are all new and the mountain view is 100 points. Day five - movement towards Ella - the capital of tea and waterfalls. On the way we visited a tea factory - interesting and interactive. Waterfalls, mountains and serpentine. Then a trip on the Tea train - a 4-hour route to Yalla at an altitude of 1200 to 1800 meters - magnificent impressions - the conductor opened the doors of the car - take pictures, the train dangles over the abyss, everyone is filmed on mobile phones or cameras - how tourists didn’t fly away - I don’t know - attraction . In Ella again plantations and 9 arches bridge built by the British is very impressive. Hotel Flower garden in Ella - the view is extraordinary.
All this in the gorge, all in the greenery, everything chirps, and in the morning you drink coffee on the veranda above the abyss, everyone smiles at you and you answer. A trip to Yalla - with a visit to the monastery in the Buduruwagala rock. Impressive complex, buddha and people. The second safari in Yalla is different from the Minneriya safari - there are already crocodiles, birds, deer and an elephant - only one was caught - but it is also interesting and the landscape is beautiful. Overnight at The Rain Tree Hotel in Tissamaharana with views of the lake and trees hung with flying dogs and in the evening show - flying to hunt these big dogs. The next day, a trip to the ocean to the hotel - Centara Ceysand in Bentota.
