It's hard to start somewhere, but I'll try. Let me start by saying that everything was great.

We had a common dream to get married somewhere in a beautiful exotic place on the ocean with palm trees, without many relatives and uncomfortable situations. Private ceremony just for us. But the prices on the sites did not please the Maldives and the Seychiles were very expensive, so our fabulous trip was constantly postponed. I accidentally saw a banner with last-minute tours to Sri Lanka and thought why not. I consider myself a fairly advanced traveler, so I plan the whole tour myself and negotiate with hotels too. The only plus in a travel agency is that you can buy much cheaper flight tickets. And so the tickets are on hand, there is very little time before the trip, but there are so many unresolved issues, the first and most important is the wedding hotel. This service is not common in Ukrainian travel agencies, so I could not find out any information from them. It is worth noting that almost every hotel in Sri Lanka offers a wedding ceremony, there are practically no reviews, which is quite difficult. I sent an email with a question about the date of the ceremony, if it is busy these days and the cost of services (about 40 hotels). I received an answer from only 10 hotels, half of which I immediately threw away due to the high price. We had a limited budget of 600 ye.

After talking and finding out the nuances with the managers, there were 2 options left, one of which at the very last moment refused due to reservation by other people. So my advice is to do everything in advance good hotels sort out quickly in the season.

And so our chosen hotel was PANCHI VILLA 4 * in Bentota, where we planned to spend 2 days of our vacation and of course our wedding. We planned our wedding for the last days of the trip, before that we had 4 days of excursions and 4 days of a large hotel in Negombo. So we saw enough hotels and there was a lot to compare and make impressions with. And so the hotel, rather a small private villa, having arrived immediately, we were not much disappointed, a small area, a small pool and a 5-minute walk to the ocean. But then we began to get a taste, as everything in the hotel adapts to you and all your wishes are taken into account, which you cannot achieve in a large hotel. It is worth noting the hospitality of the owner, the young man is very cheerful and cordial.

And so the wedding! The money needs to be transferred in advance (by paying not a small percentage for the transfer). We discussed almost all the nuances on the spot. Chami (owner's name) said relax, I'll do everything for you, to my surprise, I did not refuse. And we continued to enjoy the rest, and in the morning it was already a wedding))) I didn’t regret for a single minute that we chose this particular hotel for the wedding, everything was organized just super, everything is very beautiful and harmonious. In Lanka, they offer a full range of wedding services; you can rent wedding national costumes there, buy rings, order an elephant for the ceremony, and so on. in general, any whims for your money. We were supposed to have a modest ceremony with our money, but Chami did everything and more. There were drummers and dancers and singers and a candlelit dinner with lobster and giant prawns. I will not describe the ceremony itself for a long time and it must be experienced. Very different from Christianity. Look at the photos, they will inspire you))

There were many emotions and all positive. True, on the day of the wedding there was a very bright sun and it was quite hot. And there was also a problem with the hairdresser and stylist, who clearly did not understand what she was doing, but I did not count on her, it was a gift from Chami, so you need to work on the hairstyle yourself.

Well, my husband brought tea, I was distracted and the thought was gone, so if you have any questions, write with pleasure I will answer.
