I would rate a hotel stay on several criteria:
1. Location - secluded paradise. An excellent beach, although not equipped, you can ride the waves for hours (though with the risk of getting burned) or swim in the bay, including with a mask. Iguanas, chipmunks are in abundance on the territory. The landscapes are simply fabulous....
2. The hotel is equipped for relaxation without noisy parties, sporting events. Water aerobics, yoga, diving (charge = 60 USD 2 hours), scorling (equipment charge - 10 USD / day, or your own), boarding on the waves. The rooms are quite spacious, there is a TV channel - RTR - Planeta, a bed like in a fairy tale - under a canopy (from mosquitoes), a bathroom - for people without any special claims, electric lighting is weak, air conditioning is excellent. The hotel area is small, but well-groomed and now the owners - the Italians are engaged expansion - build additional buildings.

3. Service and food. The hotel has a Russian-speaking guide who can always help resolve any issue. There are no complaints about service. And if you also give tea, then they are ready to carry you in their arms. Dinners at the hotel are exceptional - with scope, fantasy and abundance. Breakfasts are modest, a little monotonous, but if you do not chase after frills, then they are quite decent. I advise you not to bother with dinners - we once dined at a nearby restaurant (at Captain Pierrot's) - we ate so much that we no longer had the strength to dine. Then they dined with fruits and coconuts.
4. Environment. You can walk around the village, to the market, by the way, you should immediately buy drinking water in the stall opposite the exit from the hotel. We purchased a 5-liter bottle - a little over a dollar. You can walk along the sandy spit - you won’t go anywhere else. Local guys, of course, are quite intrusive. But with all this, when I stepped on a sea urchin, they immediately rushed to help me - and quite qualified, thanks to which I was limping for only one day. When my mask and snorkel were torn off by a wave and carried away, they rummaged for about ten minutes along the entire coast - until they found it and brought it to me. Although they count on financial gratitude for this. They offer massage - 20 dollars, they say it's not bad. We dined at Pierrot's for $40. for two: firstly - delicious, secondly - very plentiful, thirdly - exotic, namely: a large lobster, a dozen king prawns, seafood soup (can claim first place in any culinary competition), beer, pineapple fresh, salad, french fries, pilaf.
When we caught a big black marilin fish - there is in the photo, they offered fishing, but we did not have time.
My conclusion: if I manage to get to Sri Lanka again, I will definitely visit this hotel
