We rested in this hotel for 3 days after a six-day tour of the wonderful Sri Lanka. Chose this one based on reviews, I wanted comfort. The impressions are ambiguous, especially since before that we managed to live somewhere in 5 hotels in different cities of Sri Lanka.
We booked a room and paid ourselves through the hotel website. There were no problems with this. We agreed in advance with the manager about a late check-out from the hotel, respectively, with a surcharge, but upon arrival we were refused this, so on the last day the room was handed over to 12, and then to 19 hung around the hotel (this was allowed). They also indicated in the application that we had Honey Moon, but the hotel ignored this. The staff is a bit lazy but very welcoming and friendly. I did not like the presence of the military and local police with machine guns on the territory of the hotel, there were a lot of them and this did not add much comfort. In addition, the inadequate reaction of the staff to tourists in swimsuits was surprising. There was no swimming season in the ocean (August), strong waves. We rested in the pools, there are 2 of them on the territory. The pools are excellent, clean, of different depths. The hotel area is small, but very compact. The rooms are large, beautiful and comfortable. The architecture and design of the hotel is very nice. The restaurant is open air, overlooking the ocean, very nice. The dishes are a bit dirty though. About food. We only have breakfast included, the variety is weaker than in some 4 * hotels, but we are already spoiled. Everything was delicious.
We ordered dinner ourselves. On the site, the hotel offered a wide variety of vegetarian food, in fact, everything is not so, the choice is small, but everything is very tasty. Prices for SL are high.

We certainly did not expect entertainment here as in Turkey. But it was very boring. It takes 5 minutes to get to the city of Galle by tuk-tuk, but I didn’t want to leave the city anymore (tired of local attention). The British rested in the hotel besides us, but in very small numbers. Transfer from hotel to Colombo $80.
Conclusion: In general, the hotel is pleasant, but not worth that much money.
