Initially, they gave the room not very much, but at my request the next day they changed it without additional payment (only the guy who moved us was given a $ 5 tip))) to a triple room, although there were two of us. The only negative is soundproofing, or rather, the lack of it. The hood in the bathroom is a small lattice window into the corridor and a little more into the room, as well as the sound of pouring water when someone flushes water in the toilet on the floor above. But these shortcomings do not cause much inconvenience and are completely covered by the advantages: good service, caring staff, fairly clean rooms, towels are changed almost every day, bed linen every other day, a view of the ocean and palm trees, a sandy beach. In a word, a piece of paradise, like an advertisement for "Bounty")))
If you still have doubts - decide as soon as possible, you will not regret it!
Advice for those who have already decided: do not take excursions from a tour operator - one disappointment. We went on an excursion to Kandy with Exotic Travel, guided by the fact that since we do not speak English well, we need to go with a Russian-speaking guide, and so, he did not tell us anything interesting: not a word about the history of the island or certain places, nor about customs . . They took us strictly to certain places where they have an agreement - don’t buy souvenirs here, it’s expensive here, we’ll go to the store and you can buy everything there (although “there” is not cheaper), we stopped at a tea plantation in a certain place where we annoying local women were waiting, who wanted to take pictures with us and asked for money, although a little further there were more beautiful places and there was no one. The road is very tiring - 6 hours in one direction. In total, the tour took almost 22 hours.

We gained impressions during the excursion with the locals - we went to the Laguna in tuk-tuks: they told us a little history, and showed us the sights, and went on a boat ride, looked at turtles, monkeys, fish did peeling of our feet)). In general, there are much more impressions, three times less money, and in time everything took a little more than three hours. So do not be afraid - go with the locals, only better in a group, 5-7 people.
And yet, it is better to go at least 10 days, the week turned out to be very short, because the long flight and the time difference play a role.
