In no case do not pay at the hotel with cards - two weeks after the trip I received an SMS that the amount equivalent to 200 US dollars had been deducted from the card somewhere in Malaysia, where I had never been, in a nightclub! After the card was blocked, there were two more attempts for 300 and 1000 dollars. Upon arrival, the hotel took a "guarantee" on the card in the form of 1200 US dollars (! ), which have not yet been returned to the account.
A few words about the hotel and service. The place itself is quite picturesque, but the "little village" and the nearby highway are somewhat annoying. The natives are friendly, although some of them are intrusive. The atmosphere and service are generally decent, the place is really secluded and intimate. The staff loves tips sooo much, sometimes they beg for them in a cheeky way, and when you give them, they also declare that it’s not enough! : -D Annoying. The restaurant does not shine with variety, but the food is tasty and fresh and inexpensive by Moscow standards. (didn't try the meat - Asians tend to cook it badly! ).
The fact that we will no longer go to this hotel, as, most likely, to Sri Lanka, that's for sure.
