The area is small, but clean and comfortable. . We had a Deluxe room - settled in Villa 04 Safrano (2nd floor) with a balcony with a table and two chairs. Ocean view. . The room is large, on the rise of two wooden steps there was a large bed with two bedside tables on the sides. On the side of the bed there is a table and a large mirror. The bed and furniture in the room are normal. In front of the ledge there is a glass table, a wicker sofa, 2 armchairs. Minibar in a cabinet under the TV (on which only one channel worked - the DVD turned out to be non-working. . ). Sliding wardrobe - old and ate opened. There is an electronic safe in the closet (worked great). The side windows are very "sneaky" dried up, and the metal elements are rusted. . But there it is not surprising - the climate is very humid.
Bathroom - a large countertop with a washbasin in the center, a large mirror, a hair dryer on the side (the hair dryer is terrible because it overheated very quickly and you had to wait to dry your hair further), a toilet bowl and a door to the open-air room where the shower and jacuzzi are located. Also in the bathroom is a towel-dryer on the wall (metal pipe) and a stand for drying things (although it took at least 3 days for things to dry in that humid climate).


The cleaning of the room was excellent and they decorated the bed with flowers at the end. . He left a tip every day for 100 rupees (the exchange rate was 109 rupees per dollar). I can’t say very positively about the rest of the service either - I had to repeat requests on the reception desk 2-3 times. But all the staff are friendly and smiling.

The bar is good. Restaurant. . Since we only included breakfast, I will not be very objective. Breakfast is the same every day. There is a choice, but there is essentially nothing to choose. .
Fruits for breakfast were watermelon, papaya, banana, pineapple. The rest of the time we ate at a restaurant located on stilts on the beach. (not hotel). There are 5 types of fish on the menu (800-1000 rupees for a large fish with a side dish), shrimp (large with a side dish) - 1000, lobster - 2500. There are also several soups (spicy), the choice of fresh juices is more than in the hotel - 100-150 rupees. coconut - 80 rupees. There was also something on the menu, but I didn’t order it, so I don’t remember much. In general, there are many restaurants along the coast, but the menu is similar for everyone. And we did not check the reliability of the rest.

For some reason, the hotel bar, located closer to the beach, did not work. . Yes, there is only one restaurant. .

A lot of squirrels were running around the hotel (although they are called chipmunks for something).

Sun loungers are located under the trees and palm trees on the territory of the hotel in front of the fence separating the hotel from the beach. Behind the fence, local residents constantly hung out, obsessively waving scarves and beads.

But if you need to free your brain from bad thoughts, and just passively calmly want to relax - you need to go there. You can also go with a big company - then there is less chance of getting bored.

To the nearest city of Kalutara, go 10 minutes by Tuk-Tuk for $ 5 (after bargaining) round-trip. You need to negotiate the price with Tuk-Tukers right away. The city is mostly full of clothing stores and not much to do. All along the road. The mover on the roads is tin. They don’t let you through at the pedestrian crossing and you feel like a kamikaze. .
