We lived in this hotel with a friend for a few days after the excursion program in November. I immediately liked that the territory of the hotel is well-groomed, quite a cozy place. What I didn't like was 1 double bed in the room. We said this at the reception, but we were told that the hotel is fully occupied, so they can’t do anything. Although for an additional fee they might have corrected this situation, but after excursions and various purchases, we no longer had a lot of money to ask for it (and the prices for tourists there are not at all low).
Our price included breakfast and dinner. The food is quite tasty and satisfying. We didn't deny ourselves anything. Fresh drinks are offered right away in the evening, but they do not say that they are for an additional fee (700 rupees). Those who arrive on the first evening immediately order, and then have to pay. I draw your attention to the fact that in Sri Lanka there are many such services for which the Sri Lankans want money, but do not immediately talk about it. In Kandy, they even wanted to take money from us for showing us where the toilet is... All porters in hotels require a tip (100 rupees).
Wifi is paid. Everything on site is not cheap, so many went to the store on local tut-tuks. For example, 0.5 liter of water in a hotel costs 150 rupees. We went outside the hotel and found 1.5 liters for 85 rupees, and then the next day we bought the same water only from another saleswoman for 70 rupees, and we didn’t find out how much it costs for a local. Only the Sri Lankans see a tourist, they immediately raise prices. Get ready for the fact that they will want to make money on everything.

On the beach, locals constantly approached tourists and offered excursions, take them to the store with drags. stones, etc. Very annoying, but if you abstract, but everything is fine.
In principle, the hotel is not bad, if you close your eyes to some inconvenience.
