I am still under the impression of the holiday. Everything was great, I stayed only 11 nights / 12 days, and the feeling that I had not been at home for a month. The hotel is good, clean. I recommend this hotel to those people for whom rest is important, and not show off with stories about holidays in a luxury hotel. 97% of online reviews for this hotel are positive. They clean the rooms, change towels every day, but for the bed I did not understand how often it is changed. Every evening, the fumigator is turned on in the room, the bed is spread and decorated with flowers, regardless of whether you left a tip or not. The staff is friendly, many speak a little Russian and are willing to learn it. I considered other hotels with breakfast only, and did not regret a single bit that I chose this hotel with all inc.
I would also like to talk about the scourge of Raja. Before going to this hotel, I re-read all the reviews on the Internet about the hotel and about beach fights in particular, and made a note to myself that it’s better not to mess with Raja (most of the reviews about him are bad). But by chance, the first one who approached us was Raja, in the end we went on 3 excursions with him: Kandy, Gale, a waterfall, went to Kalutara several times for fruit and a supermarket, and also went to Colombo for shopping. There were no unpleasant incidents, Raja always arrived on time, told everything on the excursions, and we always gave money after the excursions. We even went to visit him for tea. They gave him dollars, he changed at a favorable rate (more than in a bank) and brought them to the beach. So do not be afraid, you can go on excursions with him, especially since he speaks Russian better than others.
In general, the impressions about the hotel, vacation and the country are only good and positive.
