Rest is not unambiguous! I liked something, but you probably don’t need to pay attention to something. All the same REST. I write about the fact, and you be the judge. Since I myself was looking for reviews that are useful! The big minus of the hotel is near the railway. Very near! At 7 in the morning you wake up from the roar of trains (you won’t sleep off). Almost all hotels are located along the railway. The hotel itself is very good. The rooms are good. Lived on the 2nd floor. There is no dampness in the room. Meals were taken - breakfast. It took everything. We ate at different cafes. For example, in relaxation: juice 100 rupees, a serving of shrimp-1000, crabs 1100, seafood soup-500, rice with vegetables 400, beer 250. Portions are large. On average, lunch for 2 is about 3.000 rupees. We went to the ex. 3 times, but no longer wanted because of the slow movement, very tiring. We hit a cyclone and it almost always rained. But it didn't bother me much. As the weather cleared up, the heat wave set in. The ocean has always had waves. Bathed all right. I strongly advise you to go to Unawatuna to swim and not on the last day, like us. It takes 2 hours to drive (we took a minibus for 2x -60 dollars for the whole day). Because you want to do it again. If SUDDENLY I go again, then only to the south of the country. There is a completely different ocean, more beautiful and calmer. By the way, a high-speed highway (paid) was opened in December, you can get to hotels in the south very quickly. I wish you all a pleasant stay, maybe my review will help someone to correctly navigate in the choice of rest.
