About the hotel: Oh. . what can I say. I have something to compare with, I have been to dozens of countries, many Asian ones, hotels in Lanka are no better, but no worse... Average! What can I say about Koggala Village. If we assume that he is 2 -3 *. IT'S NOT BAD! Delicious cuisine (a wide variety of dishes! ), in my opinion, there is something to eat, a great view from the Bungalow and from the 3rd floor of the hotel, everyone who will live on the 1st and 2nd floors - a view of the pool, a good pool, deep on one side, with there is no other, a chic beach, normal staff at the hotel, Yes, the rooms are not ideal, but, I remind you, we are flying to Asia. And besides, having traveled more than half of Sri Lanka and having visited dozens of different hotels, I can say that it can be much worse. The main thing is a good attitude and not paying attention to the little things, and everything will be EXCELLENT!! ! I don’t know how it is now, but at the end of August there was a construction site... Repairs are underway, I think they will end soon, if they haven’t already....Come on, it’s not so scary in fact, you need to go to Sri other sensations and impressions..... And in general, having visited different places, I can say that there are only 2 beaches in Lanka that amaze me with their beauty, these are Mirissa and Koggala - the beaches are gorgeous! I've been to Bentotta, Hikkaduwa, Arugambey, Trincomalle (Nilavelli), Dikwella, Tangalle, I've seen Unawatuna and Jungle Beach and much more. . but, I'm for Koggala!! ! About the location: many say far from the airport and from the main attractions (Sigiriya, Kandy, Dambulla, Nuwara Eliya). keep in mind that you can get on the autobahn many times faster. It's very beautiful there, it's history, nature, religion. . . This is Sri Lanka! But next to Koggala there is Galle Fort and the city of Matara is not far away!

There are traces of the Galndians and the British all over the country, there are a huge number of UNESCO monuments in Sri Lanka, I think that 8 out of 200 (worldwide) on a piece of land measuring 200 by 500 km is not enough! And what is its nature. What mountains and waterfalls in Nuwara Eliya and in the Ella region - this is a must see! Of the main attractions of the island - Sigiriya (Lion Rock), the city of Kandy (Botanical Garden, and the Temple of the Tooth Relic), Dambulla (cave temple), Nuwara Eliya (tea plantations and waterfalls), Pollonaruwa (ancient city), Hindu temples (for example, in Matale) Buddhist temples in Matara and Dikwella (Temple of Veherahena - breathtaking, temple of the Big Golden Buddha... ), magnificent Dondra in the South of the country, Blow Hall in Dikwella, Reserves (there are a lot of them, I like Yala! ), stunning and reviving Adam's Peak, Pinnavella (elephant nursery), Spice Gardens, Madu Ganga River, Koggala Lake, Galle Dutch Fort…… You can continue for a long time, it's hard to list everything!
