My husband and I were in Sri Lanka for the first time and chose this hotel, however, like others, because of the proximity to the ocean.
I am writing a real review for those who know what Southeast Asia is or have been to India. In fact, the hotel in terms of service pulls all 4 stars in Asia. Always clean, water, sheets and towels are changed every day if you want it.
But those who come to Sri Lanka understand that there is nothing to sit here - a wonderful country awaits you with 8 UNESCO monuments and a lot of color around. In 12 days we traveled almost all of Sri Lanka for the money that we planned a one-day excursion to Sigiriya. You need to leave for all excursions early or early in the morning - the mileage is large, so do not be too lazy to go to the administrator and they will pack breakfast for you! We did not use the services of beach-boys (having read about Mahesh, who was the first near us). But... after leaving the hotel we found a mini park))) of parked tuk-tuks and immediately got acquainted with chic people who have now become our friends - Asanga and Amid. These guys made our vacation unique, in addition to planned excursions, we visited places where there are no tourists, and we made purchases 2-3 times lower than tourist prices, and we were taken to restaurants for locals, invited our wives and mothers to the houses, made a party on the beach is the most colorful trip. The hotel has administrators who speak Russian. In general, go outside the gate and ask Asanga and Amid and you will be provided with rest, and the hotel will warm you with a warm ocean and insanely spicy food!
