This country impressed me not only with the ocean and nature, but also with kind, helpful and very cheerful people! ! This country has everything! Ocean, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, palm trees, tea plantations, trees, flowers, fruits, lizards and chipmunks right on the balconies, unique flora and fauna!! ! Eternal green! This is an indescribable feeling of delight!
Rested at the Club Koggala Village from 29.11 to 05.12. This hotel may have disadvantages with regard to rooms (damp and with old furniture. u), this is not Turkey for you, but it has the best beach on the entire island, cleanest, not a single shell, only sand. So it is at the entrance to the ocean, not a single pebble, The water is blue and clean. There were waves all the time but I swam in the waves every day.
Coming to Sri Lanka and sitting in a hotel is stupid, but you are not going to this paradise in order to sit in a room! simple, modest, but cozy. You definitely need to take a room with an ocean view, because. Garden View rooms if nothing else on the 1st floor but with access to the pool. The ocean view is absolutely amazing! The staff is kind and responsive. In general, all Sri Lankans are kind and pleasant people, everyone smiles and greets. Every day they cleaned the room, replenished tea / coffee, put a couple of bags every day. The breakfast is good but there is no chicken or fish although everyone will find something for themselves: there are omelettes / scrambled eggs, and vegetables, salads, fruits, oatmeal, cereals, pastries . . there is also Sri Lankan cuisine, which is also interesting to try).

Before the trip, I thought over the program of excursions that I should definitely visit. On the second day of my stay at the hotel, there was a meeting with a representative of the tour operator, where she sold excursions at exorbitant prices. On the beach I met with the beach boy Chaminda phone +94713184733 (+ viber). The guy speaks Russian and English well. I went everywhere with him . . it was just super!!! ! Chaminda is not only a great guide but also a good person! ! 7 days in Sri Lanka became a true friend! And next time, if I go, I will organize everything through him! ! He has a tuk-tuk, he took me to shops where I bought souvenirs, spices, stones, wooden elephants. I didn’t take it to places where they heat up on tourists, so everything turned out cheap. He is a very honest and decent person! Helped pick fruit. With him, excursions came out much more interesting, cheaper and more complete than taking a hotel from a travel agency! I went by boat on the lake to the islands (there was a fish peeling), went on a two-day excursion: to Kandy (we watched the Temple of the Tooth Relic), Dambulla Temple, Indian temples looked, Sigiriya, rode elephants, fed them, the 2nd day went to botanical garden, Nuwara Eliya, were at a tea factory, bought tea from 350 to 4000 rupees in a store (the guys from the hotel said that the hotel guide carries tea for 25 dollars to buy), went to waterfalls, and also felt the local flavor and all the beauty while traveling on train. We spent the night in a hotel with a great view. I also saw a blue whale. Vacation was a hit! didn't want to leave because Chaminda became a true friend!
