Good afternoon! We rested in this hotel from 09.02 to 19.02. 2018, in order:
1. Hotel. The hotel itself is a little tired, but clean, cleaning every day, air conditioning works (without it it’s hot +35), the territory is well-groomed, the food is normal (were at breakfast), the staff is helpful, there were only about 50-70 vacationers, so silence and calm, no animation, a couple of times there was a performance of local folklore from the hotel. In general, this hotel is not for the particularly demanding, who care about the quality of the hotel, next to FORTRESS 5 *, pay the money gentlemen.
2. Beach. It's just a bomb!! ! The sand is clean, the water was 28-29 degrees, the waves are chic 2-3m (who needs a quiet backwater is not for you), there are very few people on the beach, in general, complete relaxation and tranquility.
3. Infrastructure. In the vicinity there are several cafes with local cuisine (mainly seafood), I recommend KOTAWANA FISHERMAN, the owner cooks, everything is fresh, prices are 30-50% lower than others, WELL VERY DELICIOUS! The bank is nearby, there will be no problems with the exchange if the market or shops are about 5 km away (tuk-tuk or bus).
There was no desire to go on excursions due to the intense heat, we were in Galle and Unawatuna (I do not recommend the latter).
We went with JOIN UP, there are no complaints, everything is organized, special thanks to the guide Marina, she will tell you everything.
