There are no problems on the plane, except for food for your hard-earned money. . . Therefore, I strongly recommend that in order not to lose strength and mood, take a small but nutritious brake with you. Although, if you have an extra couple of tens of dollars, then you can have a bite to eat on the plane. We continue. . . Upon arrival in Colombo, we spent about two hours at the visa application and passport control, since there are many arrivals, and the employees of the airport, customs and passport and visa service are VERY VERY !!!! ! slow-paced!! ! Eight times he studies your passport, then he goes to drink some water, stare at the queue. . . after that, full of self-importance and indispensability, on the MATRIX printer prints out a toilet paper that is your visa. The passport control worker behaves in the same way!! ! Okay, they put up with it, because there is no point in being indignant and swearing - they speak English with difficulty, and they don’t understand Russian at all. So it’s useless to freak out and get nervous - in response, stoic calm composure !! ! We left the airport, boarded the bus, and set off. . . And then it’s just a shocking fact - I wanted to go home, because what I saw on the streets of Colombo killed on the spot: dirt, vanity, noise, dust, poverty-slums of Mumbai compared to what I saw just a metropolis !! ! In frustrated feelings, we fall asleep with my wife on the bus seats, resigned to fate. . . We wake up at some crossroads, and the dream, along with the worst mood, disappears in a split second !! ! Before us is His Majesty the Indian Ocean!! ! This is an indescribable sight, photos and videos do not reflect and do not convey all the delight right up to the puppy squeal!!! ! This is a must see!! ! Already finally waking up, we examine with interest the pictures floating outside the window. The contrast with Colombo is huge!! ! Modest but neat houses, an incredible amount of greenery: coconut palms, banana trees, and some other outlandish plants. . . We arrive at the hotel. Since we got from Colombo for about four hours (this is only the road, not counting the passage of control), we were late for breakfast, of course, but it’s nice to bite !! ! But the representative of the tour operator Roman (God bless him) fussed, breakfast was fed immediately, after breakfast they immediately handed over the keys to the rooms. And here we want to give friendly advice: do not be stingy and do not be too lazy to bring with you a few bars of the cheapest, but UKRAINIAN chocolate. It truly works wonders: just for one tile they gave a wonderful number (814)!! ! A couple of hours after the settlement brought and connected the TV!! ! Although they show ONLY Indian, Sri Lankan or Anglo-American channels, even though the TV screen is 17 inches, it’s still nice and it’s quite suitable for the background. Further is better. The linen was changed daily, as were the towels. Every day a bouquet of fresh, very fragrant flowers was changed in the room, different figurines-patterns were made from the sheets. . . All in all, the service is just amazing. And the hotel is VERY good for a 3-ki. Throughout the holiday, mobile phones, jewelry, personal belongings lay on the table in the room, but nothing was missing, and we did not hear any complaints from other vacationers. Breakfasts and dinners are quite edible. The pool water is clean and fresh. About the ocean is a separate conversation, it is better to see and try it yourself!! ! INCREDIBLE DELIGHT!!!!!!! ! We met the tuk-tuker Missa (Misha in our opinion). He speaks very decent Russian, and he knows him all along the coast. . With a dollar exchange rate of 1 to 128 rupees, we changed 130 !! ! Perfectly cooks shrimp and lobsters on the grill, and at a VERY good price (2 kg of shrimp for 2000 rupees !!! ) In Galle he drove for 2 dollars, and this dashed off about 50 km.
