Yes, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms - maybe it's for the best, because we came to rest, and the social networks will wait))) It turned out that we got sick and the staff will always bring us tea with honey, tincture with pepper, which was very surprising .

I will write everything in order, because the hotel has NO pluses, except for friendly staff and silence around, only MINUSES. Read. - at the hotel you can be robbed!! ! Locals constantly come there and drink beer, brides and grooms come there with their friends to take pictures (it's beautiful) and most importantly, the hotel is not guarded from the ocean.

We returned from this hotel on May 1.2012 and immediately write a review so that people have an idea where they are going. I will write everything in order, because the hotel has NO pluses, except for friendly staff and silence around, only MINUSES. Read.
- at the hotel you can be robbed!! ! Locals constantly come there and drink beer, brides and grooms come there with their friends to take pictures (it's beautiful) and most importantly, the hotel is not guarded from the ocean. Thus, by a strange coincidence, it was on the last night, in our room on the ground floor, that a window was opened from the side of the street and a mobile phone was stolen from the bedside table. The guards looked like our calls for help with a flashlight around the territory, they answered the request to call the police - only in the morning (since we were leaving at 5 in the morning, there was no point in this) and went on to sit in the booth. Whoever committed the theft knew where we lived, what to steal, where it was, and knew that we had our last night, so it was planned.
- located in the "deaf" village of Maravilla, there are no restaurants, bars or cafes near the hotel and in Maravilla itself, there are also no shops with souvenirs, shops where you can buy water or other food are a 40-minute walk or drive through this distances on Tuk-tuk.
- there is NO beach near the hotel, almost the entire coast in Maraville is destroyed by the ocean and littered with huge stones, so you won’t be able to swim.
- The pool is small.
- since there is no alternative to food, you will have to eat in the restaurant at the hotel, they immediately include 10% service charge, they cook deliciously, but after we found 2 dead flies in the salad, each meal began with picking food on object of every living thing.
- the rooms are cleaned only after the request and following them on the spots.
- the cleaning itself is terrible, they just create the appearance.
- the rooms are shabby and with ants, they do not bite, but be prepared that you will see them everywhere on the bed, in dishes, clothes and so on.
So, if you are going to this hotel, think carefully.

I don't know who goes to such countries for what. And we went for positive emotions. And we got them 100%. The ocean, nature, air, people, hotel - that's what you need for complete happiness. We drove, like everyone else, with caution. But all fears disappeared as soon as we were met at the airport. I want to say right away that there is no TV or discos in this hotel. Internet is available, but the signal is weak. Although we even managed to talk on Skype. The beach is clean, no rocks. Plenty of sunbeds and mattresses. The waves in the ocean are big. Water is like fresh milk.
Food. We had breakfast + dinner. Breakfast is the same as everywhere else. Tea with milk, pastries, fruits. Every day at lunchtime, a bartender came to the room with a menu and asked me to choose dishes for dinner. Cooked very tasty and a lot. Everything was served beautifully. Especially the desserts. No flies or ants were ever found in the food.
Once they made an attempt to go to Colombo. We decided to try the bus. Colorful. Unforgettably. Colombo has a huge number of interesting places and shops. Bought a lot of souvenirs, saris, jewelry.
All roads on the tour lead through the railway to Colombo. You can also take a taxi, but it's expensive. We didn't take the risk on the train. Left without excursions. We'll see next time.

The local population is very friendly. Everyone from young to old speaks English. Newlyweds came to the hotel almost every day. This means that there is a very beautiful place. Once the hotel even celebrated a wedding. The spectacle was excellent. There were 300 guests.
Local fruits are very sweet and tasty, especially pineapples and bananas. Lion beer is also delicious. Local vodka from Arak coconut juice is cool, it tastes like our moonshine. Bought fried breadfruit gingerbread. Everything is delicious and without consequences.
We did not have any vaccinations before leaving.
Well, the disadvantages. Mosquitoes. There are many in the evening. Saved by spirals and sprays.
I recommend to anyone who is tired of the hustle and bustle.
