Just got back from Sri Lanka. . .
Well, now about everything in order.
It took almost 7 hours to get to the hotel.

The hotel is good. Quiet, calm, beautiful territory. Although it is clear that there is not enough female hand. Nice rooms only chalets. Standard rooms are not very good, without barrack-type windows. Pull on 3 * I do not recommend. We lived in chalet number 5, from the terrace of this room - one of the most beautiful views of the ocean. If you need peace and quiet, ask for 5.6, 7 chalets, they are located on the very edge with a beautiful view, you can also number 4, but it is located near a 2-storey bungalow and it is noisy there. A lot of all kinds of animals, birds live on the territory of the hotel...., be prepared to wake up several times a night from harsh screams and all sorts of sounds. The staff is very good. Everything is fast, quiet, calm. Not the slightest displeasure or rudeness. Breakfasts (included) are very monotonous, the same every day. Dinners are good, (13-14 s) per person. Every day seafood, different salads....... mmmmmmmm. I really liked the "dinner parties", which are held once every 10 days, with the invitation of local artists. It makes no sense to go to dinner outside the hotel. It turns out much more expensive and unsafe. Wi-Fi works on the territory of the hotel, so that you can chat with your family at any convenient time, although it works from only near the reception. There is also a shelf with books left by tourists. Vacationers are mainly from Russia and Ukraine.
The locals made us a little angry, every day they came to the beach and "stared", tried to pester, but after a good explanation....they didn't come up anymore.
Ocean - go down to the ocean for 10-15 minutes at a slow pace, go up for 20 minutes with small stops. We went to the beach on the left side, near the house. On the right beach there is a drain of water from the showers of this hotel. but the smell is such that it seems that there is not only shower water.......You can go to more distant beaches, but we were too lazy. The first days on the ocean were strong waves, it was very cool to swim. True, many people did not even go to the beach, not to mention families with children. Then the ocean calmed down and became almost silent. By the way. No one wrote that the hotel does not have a beach as such. You just take a towel and spread it on the sand. The so-called wild beach. So take this into account when choosing a hotel, for whom it is important. There are sun loungers near the pool, but for some reason they don’t have mattresses, and it’s not very comfortable to lie on them.
We didn’t go on excursions, since we were in SHL 5 years ago, on the west coast, and then we traveled all that was possible. I highly recommend Sigiriya and Kandy, tea plantations and waterfalls. Well, it’s very beautiful. Be careful with tea. 5 years ago we took Maxwood tea, well, very good tea. This time we were not so lucky. The country is interesting, there is something to see. I recommend taking an excursion for 4-5 days first, and then going to the coast, since it is very difficult to get somewhere from this hotel.
Shopping - best done in Tangalle, you can go to Dikwela. There are supermarkets with clothes, you can dig up something. The sizes are small, up to 48-50 for women and men.
Take with you a cream for bites and after mosquito bites. Sun protection from min 30. as well as thermal water for the face.
Well, in general, that's all.
Have a good rest everyone.
