During the three days of our stay in it, the room and bathroom were never cleaned. There was no refrigerator, TV, mini-bar declared in the advertisement. The second towel was simply asked for. The towels were not changed either. There was no chef in the restaurant. Cooked by a relative of one of the staff. Rice liked it. Nothing else to like from the proposed cuisine. Breakfast is poor, and tea bags are simply depressing with their color. At our request to cook fish and seafood for dinner, they quickly bought everything, showed it, cut it, but they didn’t let us eat until the owner arrived. So we sat hungry until 21.00. They said that we would have dinner only with Serezha. I liked the human qualities of the staff. Very charming people. Liked the pool. But where is the bar, we never found. On the other hand, one large monitor lizard ran around the territory (the staff fed it behind the kitchen) and a slightly smaller monitor lizard ran in our room. First, he hovered over the toilet, fell down, rushed around the room until he was kicked out into the territory. Impressions are not pleasant. It's good that all this happened in the morning and not at night. Where in the hotel there is a garden, we did not find the same. There is one nice "herringbone" and a palm tree. Signs of cleaning the trestle beds near the pool for three days were not found. But they were present at the conversation between Sergei and his friends, where he asked to write a couple of good reviews about the hotel. And one more important point. The bill for dinner is not provided immediately, on the same day. Thanks to our new friends from Russia who took us from this wonderful place with them to Hikkaduwa, to the Oasis Villa hotel. We think that Seryozha should visit it to see and learn how to organize recreation for money (I won’t call it otherwise). I stayed at this hotel in April. The hotel is new which is nice. Located in a green area, near the river. The small number of rooms sets it apart from most crowded places. Such a chill out. Service and cuisine are top notch. Maybe it's temporary while they're working recently, but I think it's easy to check during my next visit, but in winter.

We went with friends and relatives on our own, without the help of travel agencies. Pre-selected and agreed on accommodation in the new villa Tangalle Lagoon Villa (www. villatangalle. com). The languages of communication with the manager Sergey are Russian, Ukrainian, English, French. The driver met us and took us from Colombo to Tangalle in a few hours. We were attracted by the following - the city is located on an amazing coast, a many-kilometer strip of clean, unspoiled wide beaches, comfortable spacious air-conditioned rooms with bathrooms and showers - with cool and hot water, a private pool with a children's pool (and we were with a 1.5-year-old granddaughter) .
The villa is located on the shore of the lagoon - a river that flows into the ocean. Very comfortable location of the villa - to the city center (shops, banks, market) on foot 5 minutes, to the beach - 3 minutes. At the same time, the noises of the city and the ocean surf are muffled by the jungle, parrots and a family of monkeys were constantly observed in the branches of trees and palm trees. This riot of wildlife can be observed directly from the restaurant, located above the water of the lagoon. Equipped with bridges for fishing in the river - pecking and caught just crazy. Anyone who has come across the cuisine of Sri Lanka knows that from the habit of eating local food - rice and curry, tears appear almost immediately. Here in the villa, Chef Chamarra will cook anything from the usual European food to Japanese sushi, and it will be absolutely delicious. A special meal was prepared for the granddaughter, she ate everything with pleasure. Sea delicacies were served for us several times - shrimp, lobsters, squid, fish, all this is very fresh - the fishing harbor is nearby.
Several times we went on one-day excursions - we saw almost all the interesting places in the south of the country. The trips arranged by the villa managers were done in an air conditioned 6 seater Toyote at ridiculous prices. Naturally, entrance tickets were the same everywhere for all foreigners. Finally, before flying back, we went on a six-day tour of the country, which was compiled for us at the villa. We have visited almost everywhere, and made sure that we made the absolutely right choice. It was the right combination of educational and recreational recreation. It is worth saying that the villa cooperates with the state doctors of Ayur-Veda and organizes massage procedures - it is impossible to compare with either ordinary or Thai. In general, they rejuvenated here not only in soul, but also in body.
Next time we will definitely go here, especially since the new Hambantota International Airport opens in March - and this is only 30 km from the villa.

It is 1-2 minutes to the ocean beach, a little to the left the river flows into the ocean and there are a lot of beautiful picturesque places, I advise you to walk along the coastline. To the center of Tangalle - the same 1-2 minutes to stomp, next to the supermarket "family food" and the holy of holies liquor "Arakaba", though in the liquor they stick 30-40% to the cost, but you need to give exactly the amount that is indicated on the bottle : ) By the way, the owner Ukrainian villas and there were no problems with communication at all.
