I chose the hotel myself, because I was interested in this particular beach. Check-in and check-out at the hotel went smoothly. The room was good, but due to the specifics of Sri Lanka, there were a lot of all sorts of insects. Here it is in the order of things. Near the hotel you could find shops and restaurants, just anything you want. During the entire holiday in the pool, I did not swim, I stayed on the beach all the time. The hotel does not have its own beach as such, you could only sit there and look at the ocean. And if you swim, you had to go left or right.
The staff here is very responsive. I can't comment on food as I didn't eat at the hotel.
In general, the hotel is quite acceptable. It is calm, there is no noise and din.

We stayed at this hotel in Sri Lanka last February 2016. The most important thing to note is the amazing nature and views from the hotel!! ! Definitely this hotel will appeal to those who like to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the surf, admire the beautiful landscapes from the balcony! We stayed at this hotel in Sri Lanka last February 2016. The most important thing to note is the amazing nature and views from the hotel!! ! Definitely this hotel will appeal to those who like to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the surf, admire the beautiful landscapes from the balcony! The hotel is quite small and built in such a way that all rooms have an ocean view! The hotel stands on a cliff, in fact, directly above the ocean. If you like to admire the sea (ocean), enjoy the sound of the surf, then you are definitely here! BUT!! ! The hotel is located on the edge of the village and does not have its own beach. This must be taken into account. Very close, near the neighboring hotel, there is a wide strip of sandy beach with palm trees and cozy hammocks, where you can buy, for example, delicious fresh watermelon juice and have a great rest! You can also have delicious and relatively inexpensive meals there. BUT - there are very strong waves on this beach! almost no one swims there! the waves just knock you down when you go into the knee-deep water. Therefore, you can perfectly relax there, but you can’t buy it. (but there is excellent wi-fi). If you want to swim, you will have to go to the village itself either on foot for about 15 minutes along the road, or you will be offered to take a tuk-tuk, but they will charge a lot for it. But there is the longest beach, you can stop anywhere and swim. If you want to relax under an umbrella on sun loungers, just buy something at the beach bar.
The rest of the hotel is very decent, comfortable, good spacious rooms. English speaking staff. Resting mainly Europeans. We only included breakfast (traditional European). We went to the village for dinner. I recommend this hotel to couples, newlyweds, who are not embarrassed that you have to walk to the beach))) and lovers of picturesque nature. We went a year ago, and the review (it just so happened) is writing only now, so I may be missing some details. But, I hope that this review will help someone to make an impression about the hotel.
