And so I'll start from the very beginning; )

We went to rest with my wife in the period from 06.04 to 18.04, I will be in order:
Road:

The flight was from Boryspil, the Windrose airline via Dubai, the road is something, the scheduled departure was at 2.05 am, the flight was postponed for one hour due to a sandstorm in the Emirates, the plane was a good Airbus 321, food was not taken on board, they took sandwiches with them and didn’t eat them, they didn’t really want to, they drank only water, the flight was long, they didn’t sit comfortably all the way. There was a refueling in the Emirates, they brought all the refueling equipment and started refueling, by mistake even things started to unload, if it were not for the uncle with a tie, our things in Colombo would have been waiting for a long time; ), Thank God everything worked out! In Dubai, the flight was delayed for another hour, again due to a storm ...We arrived somewhere at 17.00 local time, waited another 40 minutes for everyone to go through passport control, then finally we went. Everything that they wrote here transfer 1.5 hours is all nonsense, we drove somewhere 2.
5, maybe more, where at 21-30 we were at the hotel, but it was worth it ...Upon arrival, dinner was waiting for us. Then we went to the beach, with deep curiosity for the first time to look at the ocean, a lot of crabs ran on the sand, and the ocean lived at night)
They settled us quickly, took a superior terrace room on the tour, agreed on the spot absolutely free of charge on the superior balcony room, I really liked the fact that they didn’t even ask for money, the people are very interesting and friendly with kind eyes, I started to like them from the first day. The room was comfortable, clean, overlooking the pool and garden. Cleaned up every day.
The territory of the hotel itself is quite green, with beautiful vegetation, there are no large buildings, a maximum of three floors, where in one of the buildings for a fee, you could take a course of recovery from Ayurveda, which is quite effective and beneficial for the body; a lot of different living creatures lived on the territory: 3 monitor lizards, a chameleon, a lot of chipmunks, a family of 12 monkeys, we were lucky, we had them every day, they never refused to have breakfast and dinner on our balcony, so stock up on bananas. Such good monkeys, big and bolder, approached us less than 10 cm, were almost on their hands, but did not let themselves be touched, they immediately noticed it and ran away, they liked bananas, but when they saw that there were still chocolate wafers , then they came to them tastiest)))
The ocean, of course, is very strong, the scale cannot be conveyed, it didn’t let out directly, it captured and drew it in + the current carried it away to the right of the hotel, which you don’t even notice.
Swimming in it is something, very cool, like an attraction, not one day the water was not cool, constantly milk; )) In the evening, a lot of living creatures such as crabs and rapanchiki ran out onto the sand.
Nutrition:

we had breakfast + dinner, that was enough. There are two restaurants on the territory of the hotel: the 1st with European cuisine is located not far from the reception, the 2nd - with dietary cuisine, you can choose any. And what they wrote here that the food is only dietary, this is by no means the case, the cuisine is varied and quite tasty. And so on, we had breakfast in a diet restaurant on the ocean, the food was varied: fried bacon, sausages, chicken, fish - very hard, but it was also soft, every day, two or three types of juice, fruits - pineapples, papayas are stable both for breakfast and dinner, lime, oranges, two kinds of bananas, many different buns and croissants, steamed mushrooms, grilled vegetables, grilled pineapple, tea, coffee, water.
But, as for coffee, honestly, it is not very tasty and pleasant, I do not advise you to drink it there. We had dinner in a European restaurant not far from the lobby, the food is also varied and very tasty, from meat to delicious jelly and a cake for dessert. We got to their New Year, so plus there was also traditional spicy, Sri Lankan cuisine, various kebabs, they were cooked right at the entrance, many types of meat, and with pineapple and seasonings, and fried and whatever you want) The garnish is also varied, very tasty rice with spices - not spicy, pasta and light salads + a bunch of sauces, for dessert there are always cakes, and always different, everything is light and again delicious + jelly and fruits! ) The staff is friendly, they always offer tea, drinks, coffee.

Tours:
We went on two excursions, the first was with our guide, the second with a local boy - Lala.
An excursion to Kandy with our guide, the former capital, cost $ 25 per person + with you the same amount or even more. We were in an elephant nursery, there was a choice either public or private, we went to a private one, because there you could also ride them, you can’t ride in the state one, the price is the same 2000 rupees, they ride you somewhere min. 20. The next places on the way to Kandy were tea plantations, where we saw how tea grows and the Mlesna store, where we also bought a lot of delicious and quite good tea at a good price. Also, the consultants are very good-natured and friendly - they are always happy to advise on the issue of interest to you.

The next stop was at the Royal Botanical Garden, entrance $ 10, it’s very beautiful of course there, but there was very little time, it is very large in its area, it takes at least 2 hours, or even the whole day to shine a walk along this extraordinary beauty, place, and we ran it in 30 minutes, or even less, and then not all bypassed, but only a small part of it; ((Then they took us to eat, there, of course, they spent more time on us than on Botan. The garden, we stopped at a good institution, ate for 1000 rupees per person, the next stop was at a gem store and something like something like an exhibition mine, for the extraction of stones, honestly there is nothing to see, the price is space, do not get fooled by this museum))) even for silver, you can buy much cheaper here in Kyiv.
Then we, already all tired, went to the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy, the entrance is 1000 rupees, take something with you to cover your knees and your shoulders will not be allowed otherwise, we had such a case with a girl! ! ! And if you want to take a photo against the backdrop of the Buddha, then in no case stand with your back to him, you can ONLY SIDE, these are their rules and customs, there was a case, even to the point that they even wanted to take the camera and asked to delete the photo. After all these places, we were taken to a grocery store, where we skimped on the desire of everything we wanted from food and fruits, after we were taken back to the hotel - the road, it's something, we drove for 5.5 hours, we almost went crazy; )) This has never happened before, the road was so tiring!
The second tour was with a very good, local boy - Lala, he is a Russian-speaking, very conscientious, positive and sincere young man, he was always right next to our hotel, on the beach.
We took an excursion from him to one of the most beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka, these are Bentota and Hikkadduwa, we drove four of us, with a couple, it turned out to be $ 15 per person, the car was good with air conditioning, we drank coconuts on the way and made stops in picturesque places for photos . How we got to the first beach, it’s beautiful there, of course, we swam, took pictures, white sand, it was Beruwala, then we went to Hikkadduwa, it’s about an hour drive from Bentota, it’s very beautiful in Hikkaduwa, we realized that the further south on the island, the more beautiful and the beaches themselves are more picturesque, there we ate together for 3000 rupees, very tasty and large portions ! ! !
We were very satisfied with the tour, thank you very much Lala)

So if you are in Wadduwa, Kalutara or somewhere near these places, for any questions, contact Lala, here is his mobile phone number - 0094 - 724 -787-786! ! !

Lala drove us constantly and wherever we wanted, to relatively inexpensive restaurants where you can taste fresh and tasty seafood and many other living creatures of the Indian Ocean, for juicy fruits, not expensive things, bags and souvenirs, and even asked for a discount for us. And just as a person, he himself is very good and good-natured, there is something to talk about. So feel free to call him, he will definitely help you! ! !
We didn’t want to leave on the last day at all, we wanted to return again and again to the first days of our arrival in this wonderful corner of the soul, only so that they would not end. . it wasn’t enough, you really want to stay and live there, it’s such peace, peace of mind and body ...we decided that we would definitely return to the Blessed Land - Sri Lanka, this is a small piece of paradise on earth ! ! !
I will post some pictures to admire the beauty of this island and the hotel…
To everyone who is going to visit this place - a chic vacation and unforgettable impressions! ! !
