Далеко не 5 звезд Far from 5 stars

I want to share my impressions of the rest in Sri Lanka. My husband and I were planning a vacation from 11.01. 2015 to 19.01. 2015. They started planning the trip in advance, asked the travel agency for a list of good five-star hotels in the southwest of the island. This list includes the Blue Water Resorts & Spa 5 * hotel, from the host company EXOTIC HOLIDAYS INTERNATIONAL. On it and stopped their choice.

Expected to stay in a five-star hotel, but upon arrival were frankly disappointed. The reception is all shabby, the water in the pool is dirty, the restaurant has very simple furniture, it is unpleasant to sit on it, because it is all stained; The quality of the prepared food is at the level of 3 stars. And in general, the Blue Water Resorts & Spa 5 * hotel in no way corresponds to the declared five stars, a maximum of 3 stars. I travel a lot and I know what I'm talking about, there is something to compare. Of the planned nine days, we spent only five at the hotel, after which we changed tickets and flew home.

No one provided us with compensation for the remaining paid days at the hotel and the exchange of tickets.

This situation would not have taken place if EXOTIC HOLIDAYS INTERNATIONAL provided tourists with truthful information about the level of hotels it offers. The tourist has the right to know about the non-compliance of the hotel with the generally accepted standards of hotels of this category. We are disappointed with the work of EXOTIC HOLIDAYS INTERNATIONAL and do not recommend staying at the Blue Water Resorts & Spa 5 * hotel if you expect to relax in a five-star hotel.
