I'll start with the hotel - the territory is chic, there are a lot of "buts" in everything else:
-food - took breakfast and dinner (it turned out to be enough) - there is a choice, but everything is very spicy, very tasty pastries and desserts at dinner
-accommodation - liked the room very much - large and the view is beautiful, but they were cleaned poorly, the bed was changed once a week
-staff - kind of friendly, but all requests had to be shaken out so that they would move (waiting for towels for half a day, then eventually went up to the employee with a trolley and took the number of towels I needed myself)
- there is practically no animation - a couple of times there was aqua aerobics and the elephant was brought to take pictures (500 rupees and 1000 rupees to ride), otherwise, you could play volleyball if you gather a company and golf

-the sunbeds were occupied early in the morning (they still went swimming before sunrise, they got burned badly), there were a lot of vacationers - there were not enough mattresses and towels.
Separately, I wanted to talk about excursions and beach-fights)) Having read the reviews before the trip, I remembered one name - Shelton Silva, they searched for him for three days, but did not find him (apparently, the reviews are doing their job and now he has no end to clients), but we found another cool guide and a beach-boy named Amin- cool guy, speaks and understands Russian well, took an excursion from him to the national park safari jeep ($ 60 per person), an excursion to the national park. the park ended - but our trip didn’t, in general, he spent the whole day with us and offered a choice of different options for further sightseeing, we managed to go to the blue lagoon (a super beautiful place and a very “delicious restaurant with the owner Irina) and already late in the evening to the temple Buddhas in bentota, I highly recommend this cheerful guy - he has been to Russia three times and loves the Russian bath and vodka))
We went for lunch to Lelik (200 meters to the right from the beach) - a very hospitable owner and also speaks good Russian, everything is very tasty and the prices are reasonable, on the last day he even gave us homemade mango sauces, which is very nice, oh yes... and every day he gave us fresh alloe leaves, because. we were badly burned (by the way, a cool thing)
Now I want to tell you about trips to the city and buying souvenirs - they have a system like this: you go with a driver in a tuk-tuk, he supposedly goes with you to every store out of kindness of heart and kind of helps with the choice, but in fact the sellers seeing you in tuk-tuk companies stick an additional amount to the price of the goods, which they then share with your driver, when we saw this chip - we politely asked the driver to stay in the car and not follow us, as a result, the price of the goods turned out to be a penny (twice as cheap as the previous ).

Alcohol is also a separate topic - firstly, there are few stores with these products, and secondly, the first time we were also deceived with prices, they have pieces of paper with numbers on the bottles - these are the prices, but at first we were lied and told that the product number , and the price was called double, in general, for information - calypso red rum costs 1930 rupees, Lyon beer 0.65 - 230 rupees, wine is usually imported and therefore expensive, Martini 1 l - 2000 rupees)), well, that's probably all I hope my review is helpful to you!
