We went to the hotel with my husband in early December 2011. A wonderful direct flight with Aeroflot, 8 hours flew to Colombo. The only thing is that it took a long time to get from the airport to the hotel (within 3 hours), they drive on the left side, they don’t follow traffic rules).
Our hotel room was located in the main building, at first they wanted to give us the first floor, but we refused, they met us halfway and gave the second floor. Cleaned daily, very beautifully decorated the bed with flowers.
The weather was wonderful, it rained only 2 times, lasting 1 hour, then everything dried up quickly, as if nothing had happened. On the first day we managed to burn out in the sun, the temperature was constantly +30+35 degrees.

I really liked the all-inclusive food, a lot of fruits, seafood and a variety of meat dishes, it is forbidden to take it out with you. Food and European, and their local spicy - for every taste, alcoholic drinks were included - beer, white and red rum. Fruit was sold on the beach, you could also take a local taxi "tuk-tuk" and go to the market (I liked pineapples, bananas, royal coconuts, mango and rambutan the most). They brought home a lot of clothes bought there in the ODEL store, affordable prices, beautiful things.
The hotel was struck by the diversity of the animal world - elephant, chipmunks, mini-herons. Funny monkeys came running from the neighboring village and we fed them bananas.
The huge waves of the Indian Ocean practically did not allow us to swim, so we swam mainly in the pool, I really liked the pool with a jacuzzi.
Excursions were taken from Silva's scourge, we visited almost all places (Kandy, an elephant and turtle farm, rafting on the Bentota River, a spice garden, the Temple of the Tooth Relic, tea plantations, a zoo). We liked Silva very much, he invited us to visit him, told everything interestingly and in detail, and on the way back he played the local drum and sang songs to us.
Very cool animation in the hotel - every day in the morning aqua aerobics, water football, volleyball, and in the evening show programs - national dances, shows with snakes, magic tricks and a disco.
All the locals are very nice and friendly people, they smile and invite you to visit. Men go barefoot in long skirts and women wear saris.
11 days passed very quickly, and we want to return to Sri Lanka again)))
