Our educational and business trip continues. In Kaunas, the hotel selection criteria were closer to the meeting points. All through the same "Booking" booked a room in the hotel "Metropol" at S. Daukanto, 21, perpendicular street to the Liberty Alley. Near the Military History Museum and the business center we need. The title is loud. The facade of the building, the decoration of the hall corresponds to it. Our room was a part built during the Soviet period. The bed was awesome. Would fit 3 people. TV, table, wardrobe, two chairs. Also not new, but not broken. There are wishes for the state of the bathroom. Its "stuffing" does not interfere with changing, as well as doors. Yes, and it is better to "lower" the heated towel rail for the summer. Wooden windows with mesh are best left.
The staff is friendly, responsive. Speaks Russian, English. Cleaning - sign or towel on the floor.
Breakfast is not included. The first morning we had breakfast in the "vargicle" all on the same Liberty alley. It lives up to its name. Quite edible. On the second morning we left early, so we took breakfast at the hotel. The buffet was very even. Kanapki with sausage, herring, separately herring with pickled onions, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, several types of cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, yogurt, butter, muesli, apple pie, jams, honey. And of course, a non-replaceable apple, pears, plums.

You can go down the pedestrian alley to the old town and to the river embankment. Or take the funicular to a beautiful church that looks like a skyscraper.
