water park in Druskiniki
at the beginning of the information: the water park immediately impresses with its size - here you can have fun on the territory of 23.000 square meters. Just a giant! Although from the outside it looks very compact. As many as 5 buildings are assembled under one large dome.
Here you can swim, work out in the pools, go down the turbulent river, indulge yourself with hydromassage, try the “sea waves”, ride the slides (there are 6 of them) and, of course, test all kinds of attractions, “ultraviolet” beaches, slides and waterfalls! In addition, right in the water park there is a restaurant, a hotel, a cafe, a bowling alley, a conference room, a cinema and a “huge” complex of 18 baths.
And now about our rest.
We have been to Druskiniki before. from us to go 210 km. We go once a year, sometimes every two years.
This year the trip was in September. It was a wonderful sunny warm day. we came for the sake of the water park, which is a must-see for everyone who visits Druskinniki. not far from it in the forest on the banks of the Neman there is park linowy (I don’t know how to translate correctly, like a rope park if I’m not mistaken). inexpensive but effective you can spend active time.
the staff speaks Lithuanian, Russian, as well as Polish and English.
in the water park we got to the action - rest for half the price. (3 hours for 4 (2 adults and 2 children of preschoolers) - 58 litas)
there is also a children's area, where our children frolicked all the time, while my wife and I rested in shifts for our pleasure. everything is great and top notch. no crowds (sometimes queues on the slides). there is enough space for everyone. True, on some slides there are bad joints and it is felt. when we were closed, the slide of the lakes was closed and the staff worker glued the joints there. saunas are great too. we took 3 hours, as we wanted to return home not late, but this was not enough. children could not be torn away from the children's pools and we ourselves could not visit all the saunas and slides (they work in shifts)
vacation was a success.
if you want to visit a good water park, then Druskinniki is what you need. get a ticket for the whole day.
The water park has a great hotel. expensive. who wants to spend the night cheaper, you can find a house on the net - a lot of people rent. very decent conditions, they themselves spent the night 3 years ago in hospitable Lithuanians.
