Just from the window of my hotel a stunning panorama of the city. Apparently, the name of the hotel "Panorama" is not accidental. It is located on the city hill and offers a wonderful panorama of the old part of Vilnius. The hotel itself is quite ordinary, 3 stars, good breakfasts, a hotel in the train station area. No more.
I have been coming to Vilnius for work matters for the fourth time, but only yesterday I was completely imbued with the city.
I always liked business trips to Vilnius.
Toli, Russian speech acceptable in all spheres of services in Vilnius creates a state of comfort, something like, like you are at home.
Surprisingly harmonious, somehow unusual calm rhythm for us. There is no fuss, races, crushes that are so ordinary for us. Cars drive quietly, as if apologizing for their presence in the old city.
Every second you pass this harmony through yourself, as a blessing.
My company organizes bus tours around the city every time. Well, there are bus buses, that's understandable. . . I thought why not see Vilnius through the eyes of a native. I don’t have any acquaintances in Vilnius, but I found a private local guide on the Internet and I didn’t regret it at all. Or am I just unspeakably lucky? And only after yesterday's endless wandering through the old non-tourist pedestrian narrow streets, inner medieval courtyards, through cathedrals, dungeons, I'm sitting here today at the hotel window,
I look out the window, breathe baroque views, warmth, some kind of comfort, silence and write this message to the world)))
Now I understand clearly that I will definitely come back here again. Here are the things!
I definitely recommend old Vilnius to everyone traveling around the world. You will not remain indifferent to the beauty of the city, I assure you)
