Tasty Montenegro
Our plane just landed in Montenegro at Tivat airport. The airport is surrounded by mountains and the sea. For half an hour of a trip by car, we got to the village of Becichi. Near the village there is a beautiful beach - the Budva Riviera, 2 kilometers long. In the neighborhood of Becichi, there is a small fishing village - Rafailovsky.
Montenegro is the best place for a meat-eater. Montenegrins themselves are big lovers of meat and coffee. Dishes here are served not in large, but literally huge portions. We often ordered one serving for two, and sometimes for three people. And every time they ate to satiety. We often took food with us. This helped us more than once, because we had a hotel room without meals.
Montenegrins are real masters in cooking meat. Traditional dishes are popular, for example, cevapi - fried minced meat sausages with spices and chopped onion rings.
Pleskavica is a round flat cutlet made from pork and beef.
Stewed meat with vegetables, prepared according to a local recipe - muchkalitsa. In addition to traditional dishes, different types of kebabs, steaks, chops, chicken dishes, Turkish kebabs. I myself cooked a great kebab at home, but here they were completely different: more juicy and at the same time ruddy.
Montenegrins cook almost all dishes on the grill. This way of cooking is highly respected here. There is also a lot of fish and seafood in Becici, but the prices are much higher and the portion sizes are not impressive. Meat, on the other hand, is very cheap. And if we consider prices at the old euro exchange rate, then it turns out almost for nothing.
Fast food is also popular here and is served in large portions, just like meat. For example, huge pancakes with various sweet fillings. The burgers here are 17 centimeters in diameter, and the local pizza is about 80-90 centimeters.

Walking along the embankment, thinking of something to eat, I saw a small restaurant. On the pillar of the restaurant there was an announcement: bouillabaisse - French fish soup. Without hesitation, I decided to order an interesting and new dish for me. And I was surprised again: it was very tasty and satisfying.
