Actually, I dreamed of going to Montenegro for five years, but it still didn’t work out. And now, having been there myself, I can confidently support those who say that this is not a country, but a FAIRY TALE.

I must say right away that, in my opinion, Montenegro is a country for outdoor activities. To come there and just lie all the time on the beach is a waste of time, Egypt or Turkey are more suitable for this, where, by the way, the service is better. Unfortunately, I can’t say much about the beaches, because I don’t go sunbathing. But from what I saw - the sea is clean everywhere, but the beaches are different. The largest is Slavyansky Beach, named after the hotel of the same name. But it is also divided into some sectors, because the prices for sun loungers and umbrellas at a distance of 100 meters vary from about 5 euros per set, somewhere around 7. Very nice Mogren beach outside the old town, it is quite small and the entrance there is paid - 1 euro. The widest and mostly sandy beach in Becici, from Budva you can walk there in 20-30 minutes or take a minibus for 1.5 euros. And on the beach near the Sveti Stefan peninsula, they demanded 25 euros from us for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella.

Now about the food - you definitely won't stay hungry. Firstly, the fast food system is very developed - for 1.5-2 euros you will be offered a huge slice of pizza, or gyros or some other local dishes. Secondly, there are cafes and restaurants at every turn and you can definitely choose something to your taste. On the advice from the Internet, I went to the Mozart cafe near the walls of the old city. Their desserts are really tasty, and they also have cool pancakes with breaded ham and cheese, but I categorically did not like the salads. Also on a tip we went to Jadran. Service at a very good level, good cuisine, prices are slightly higher than elsewhere. But personally, I liked the Hemingway cafe the most, a little before reaching the old city on the right side of the souvenir alley. Two nuances - napkins are put on the table in one restaurant out of ten, so it's better to carry it with you. Checks are almost everywhere brought separately along with the brought dish. That is, for example, they brought water and a check to it, then hot and a check to it, dessert, and a third check to it, well, etc. , sometimes a whole bunch of these pieces of paper accumulate))) Yes, and more, if in addition to food order tea or coffee and don’t like to drink it cold, be sure to specify that it is served to you after you eat, otherwise hot drinks are brought immediately everywhere except Jadran by default.

Well, about excursions. You can take them from your tour operator, you can from numerous travel agencies on the waterfront. We took on the embankment from Vladimir, who was recommended by friends. His prices were lower, and the content of excursions was better than that of R-tours. I will not describe in detail, because a lot has been written here before. Boka Kotorska Bay cruise 20 euros, from 9 am to 7 pm with a stop at four different destinations. Canyons and glacial lakes 35 euros for the whole day. After this excursion, I finally fell in love with Montenegro, because I have never seen anything more beautiful in my life, although I traveled quite a lot. Cetinje and Mount Lovcen 23 euros from 9 to 15. From a mountain about 1800 meters high, you can see almost the whole of Montenegro - just SUPER!!!

In conclusion, I want to say - I just fell in love with this amazing country, with its cleanest sea, mountains, beautiful pine trees, all these kiwis, tangerines and pomegranates that grow around and with its exceptionally lovely inhabitants. Trust me, it's worth going there!
